There's a technical term. When you're driving down the road, minding your own business, and suddenly you're in a traffic jam. You fight through the jam and never see what was causing the disturbance. The phenomenon is called a "density wave." It happens whenever discrete objects are moving in a flow, like traffic on a road, water, stars in a galaxy, stuff like that. If anything happens to disrupt the flow it disturbs the density and that density wave can persist for a long time even after the initial particles are long gone. Now you know; there was a reason, you're just there for the after party.
Cannot lie to ya big dawg. I watch your videos regardless, but ya tricked me thinking you were crossing the border. Did it recently in a car, was really hoping to see what a semi has to do crossing the border. Still love your channel bro, keep up the good work, and stay safe out there.
Awesomesauce Alex! Nice to see you finally using your CB radio. It has been the backbone of information when on the road. It served me well from 92 to 94.
The moment when you were blocking other trucks from entering while parking omg I was panicked so much. Hats off to the patience and skills. Love from India❤
I remember that Pilot from the "Trucking 77,560 lbs In Insanely Steep Mountains" video when you had to blind side into a tough spot and that dude helped you out. Its gotta be in the top 10 worst truck stops
@justinhiner3146 Yup Just like I'll comment about you commenting about my comment if I want Well, continuing to watch something I enjoy watching. So how about that? 🤪
I don’t think he’s bad at backing, it’s just always nerve-racking, knowing that there’s other tractors close by, especially in tight spaces, like some truckstops with less room.
Alex, I live like 15 minutes from that Nitro WV Pilot. That truck stop is notorious for parking accidents, and the dumb left turn upon leaving. If you don’t absolutely have to stop there, I would avoid it at all cost. There are other parking options in the area, some minutes away.
WoW !! Alex , that was some backing up job in the middle of those two trucks and than being kicked out, not a good place to be in and glad you left. You've got to be one of the Best new generation of truckers around. Hey what kind of music do you listen to when not recording? Looking forward to the next one. 🥰🌟✌
The desperately trying to find parking at the end of the day seems to be the only thing keeping me from changing careers. I don't think I could handle trying to park in such a tiny spot with everyone and their brother waiting on me. I know what I would be saying if I was in their shoes!
I know the exact town you were passing through in the beginning of your video. You were in Walkertown, NC. It's a small town outside of Winston Salem and yeah its certainly a ghost town.
Horrible set up parking you pulled to far forward past the spot before turning out. That’s why you ended up so close to hitting the grey truck and having to readjust so many times. Starting turning out when your driver door is looking into the spot you wanna go into. Will help you tremendously
Also sometime when your parked up at a truck stop and a truck is reversing into the space on your right I'd like to see that manoeuvre on hold on I just remembered something 😂😂😂😂
I‘m just wondering how 500 miles are far for americans. THAT‘S NOTHING compared to us europeans we drive easily 2000 miles just for holiday. Eiropean really like to drive a lot expecially in the Union.
Could you imagine being stuck behind this kid, like wow I'd blow a head gasket, instead of just moving he sits there and thinks about his next move, bro get the hell out of the way think while your driving
Seeing Sweet Express in one of these was such a jumpscare for me lol. The dealership I used to work at would hide our Camaros and Corvettes in their warehouse during the winter.
Weight stations are mandatory if you get a red light but if you get a green you can bypass….that is if you have a fast pass it doesn’t matter how much you weigh…..good job on the backing up tho
You ever get over getting all excited. Relax a little bit. You will feel a lot better. Your day will be a lot more enjoyable. Accept The Fact Everybody else is just idiots except you. Just take care of yourself & your Tk. & You Trailer. That’s only thing you are responsible for. Do best you can drive safely. It’s called self-induced pressure. You can’t deliver the load unless you deliver it safely & intact.
bro in 1:21 is the some spot when that dump truck losses brake and theres a school bus on the lift line and the rigth is a pick up truck and the driver like do a manuever to messes the pick up and the school regth?
Absolutely it’s such a poor reflection on GP drivers. I just hope people aspiring to be truckers don’t think this is normal. This is just goofy nonsense and people getting into this should know it can be soooo much smoother than this utter crap.
Yeah, Alex check out some other chucking videos of JB travels and some of the other guys they never complain like you I mean the reason I do watch it because I miss driving. I drove forever 40 years. I’m in retirement but I miss it. All you do is complain and you are gonna wear those blinkers that you do know that, so little bit of advice check out some other guys that put these RU-vid videos on try to follow their path a little bit. I know your unique and different but just to help you a little bit. Try that.
@@OneShot_GMy only tip, (I have the body to prove its truth) is to eat some fresh crispy vegetables with. No matter WHAT you eat. I keep a bag of raw onions and add them to everything. Also take a green supplement and an apple cider vinegar pill. I'm 65, and no prescriptions or pains. Good eating ❤
@@truckercowboyed2638dead wrong it’s about 50/50 on places that require it and 9/10 times it’s because they don’t want to the it bouncing as much usually due to heavier pallets. Take the trucker out of your title your seem to be as clueless as Alex is out there.
@@truckercowboyed2638 I’m sure you will say anything to defend someone who is lacking and displaying the awareness and skill set of a driver with 2-4 months of experience not 2 plus years…. Majority of places have you move tandems due to fork lift bouncing the dock plate every time in and out of trailer more severely than when tandems are to the rear. This bouncing can cause certain pallets and materials to wobble or fall. so they’ve made it company policy to have tandems to rear. Again vertical alignment has very little to do with anything as A. Most dock pates move vertically up and down. And B most trailers todays ( all of alexes he uses at GP ) are air suspension and level themselves to a certain height. Which is why If there’s thousands of lbs on the ass end of trailer it doesn’t sag low it increases air suspension pressure. Moving the tandems is polite though however especially to the forklift driver. However just wanted to point out how wrong you were and how wrong you are for defending every fault this kid has If you were any kind of a real friend you’d give the dude advice and stop condoning and defending his shitty outings as a driver. As long as he keeps prioritizing making videos over making himself a better driver he will continue to look like a fool and you will continue to look like a fool for defending such self inflicted slow growth as a driver.
You’re not legal weight?? What does that mean😂😂😂 you mean you not illegal on you’re weight. I don’t know how close I am on the other side but yea let’s keep backing up and just say fuck it .
