It's been 3 weeks and I think this is the best investment in my carpet cleaning career no doubt. The carpets dry so quickly and amazing power. I also started to use it on house electricity to save on propane.
Looks great, and you're making money without the cost of a truck mount. I myself have an 800 psi portable mytee vortex lite with a mytee heater automatic feed and pump out, and I am cleaning residential and commercial carpet very well, for guys who are running portables all you really need is good chemistry and get a CRB for agitation and you can clean carpet all day
Nice set up and very simple. How do you get the hot water? Can connected to little giant heater even if the Mansoon runs under 500psi without damaged the heater? Thanks
Thank you. So the way the water works is that the water comes cold from the barrel thats sitting inside the truck to the pump first and then the pump transfers the water to the heater and the heater heats it up and the water goes to the wand.
Hey buddy, the Goliath was designed very poorly, the manifolds started to leak air because of 4 vacuum vibration those manifolds damaged easily. The difference is not huge between the 2 machines. Goliath with 4 vacs vs 2 vacs. Goliath produces 150 lift with 300 cfm and the mansoon with 230 lift and 250 cfm. Both machines will give great power at 200 ft of hose but its easy to power the mansoon vs the Goliath because of only 2 vacs.
I currently have the monsoon with the 220 psi pump and wish i would have gone with the 500. Does yours still run on 2 15 amp cords? Because mine now draws almost 15 on eqch cord
Hey buddy, I have 2 mytee machines and both gave me electrical issues, one I almost had a fire, thank God my son caught it, I had to get it rewired, I got my monsoon on Feb of 2023 and 0 issues. I am not comfortable to switch it back to my mytee machines that they're collecting dust in my garage. 200psi is not enough. Highly highly recommend the 500psi. 200 psi is more like for upholstery, you need at least 380-400psi for filthy carpets.
@carpetcleaning999 Thank you so much for the reply. I've been pulling my hair out with these mytees. Lol I've almost had a fire, too, and it seems like I'm always having to change the switches out. Also the auto dump feature stop working only a couple months after having the machine. So frustrating. Does the monsoon have 3 cords? Also, Did I see that you run a water otter for your psi? Thanks again brother.
@@DaGolfVikingyes I run a water otter and I love to use it because of high water flow that will speed up my work, I keep my 500 psi as a backup. And I also like how I can switch between my Acid and like rinse jugs for the job type. For your auto dump pump to last longer make sure you have an external filter like mine, I clean my filter back at the end of the day. I also flush my waste tank daily as well. Monsoon comes with a small internal filter bag and I don't use it because it will fill up very quickly. The tmf boss filter is big with lots if space and usually lasts me for the whole day. I also recommend van's filter, easy to open it.
There are a lot of devices but this is my favorite that works with high flow from Amazon Ultimate Washer UW16-PA75B8 High Pressure Chemical Injector Brass a.co/d/ck6WCvY I open the knop just slightly(not all the way) and mix 3 scoops (2 Oz per scoop) in about 5.5 QT container and that's good for about 38 gallons of water.
Hi, yes I have installed it by myself. This is what I have and I highly recommend this for high flow which if you will install your chemical injector between your transfer pump and your main pump. www.amazon.ca/Ultimate-UW16-PA75B8-Pressure-Chemical-Injector/dp/B01N2WN2S9/ref=mp_s_a_1_17?crid=1LLJVE9GV2U20&keywords=chemical+injector+pressure+washer&qid=1697281977&sprefix=chemical+injector%2Caps%2C100&sr=8-17&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.b06bdbbe-20fd-4ebc-88cf-fa04f1ca0da8
You can get something like this as well but it's not for high flow, however if you will install it to your machine it doesn't require a high flow so this will do it. The other one is for higher flow which I use with my otter pump 2.2 gpm www.amazon.ca/dp/B0BWWW4T9G/ref=sspa_mw_detail_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9kZXRhaWwp13NParams
ON THE ROTOVAC MONSOON , HOW MANY TOPO SWITCHES HAVE YOU REPLACED I'VE REPLACED OVER A DOZEN PLUS ! WORKS GREAT, IT DOES A GREAT JOB , BUT I HAVE REPLACED THE TOPO SWITCHES THEY MELT OVER THE PAST 16 MONTHS SINCE I PURCHESSED IT . SAD BUT TRUE !
I have owned the monsoon now for almost a year now and i didn't repace any switches yet and i am not planning to because rotovac have done great wiring on all of their machines,, works great for me. In the past, for 5 years, I have owned their cfx, and that also didn't need any switch replacement at all.
nice setup. I wanted to upgrade my portable from ninja 200 psi to monsoon 500psi... now I know I can use this as a truck mount!!! how did you upgrade your auto fill feature? how much did you pay? please give me store name as well thank you!!
All you got to do is swap your 200 for a 500 or 1200 pump so that way you can do Tile and grout, also you can buy an APO kit and Auto fill kit@@carpetcleaning999
Business is very slow, sad to say, but today, I received some calls that I have booked. Very bad economy. Wishing you the best with your monsoon. Hang in there, be patient, don't quit, things will pick up.
@Beluel parallel set up it will give you higher cfm but ok lift, for some people it's not enough lift. With series setup is the opposite higher lift but lower cfm. We need both. Today's newest vac motors will give you both. The zx and the lx vacs both have the capability of high cfm and high lift. To achieve this, both vac motors have to be set up in series. Why do we need both? Lift is the part where the hose or the wand pick (lifts) the water from the carpet, cfm is the part where it carries that water through the hose to the waste tank. Without one the vacuum will not perform well and we won't be able to clean carpets.
Thank you for the explanation, now I have more clear and better prospective . I’m trying to decide which portable to buy . I shooting for a portable that has the CFM and the lift however I don’t want to purchase a big one like the Monsoon or any other big extractor , I will primary doing residencial . If you have any suggestions I will appreciated. Thank for the help .
@@BeluelI have only used the ninja classic, cfx, mytee portables and the monsoon. Ninja classic with dual 3 stage vacs in series will lack of cfm but you can still use it effectively with in 25ft of hose run up to 50ft but at 50ft it won't be as effective and you'll have to make extra dry passes. The cfx with dual 3 stage in parallel with high cfm and ok lift can produce great suction up to 75 feet of 1.5 inch of hose run and will give some great dry times. But the cfx doesn't have a fresh water tank. The mytee extractors have great amount of power but their main issue is the electrical. I wouldn't suggest any other machines. Check with steambrite they may have smaller powerful machines.
I currently have the monsoon with the 220 psi pump and wish i would have gone with the 500. Does yours still run on 2 15 amp cords? Because mine now draws almost 15 on eqch cord
