Zero parts availability in the US, zero support. If you need a torque sensor your motor is junk, can’t even buy a new motor. Going to Bosch bolt pattern is the same and parts availability is NOT a problem
Truckrun motors use the same internal components as bafang motors... same rotors, same clutch assemblies and planetary gears, etc. As I am watching this video its blatantly obvious its all the same. BTW all these parts have been avialable on ali express for over a decade. Its all made in china the us availability is called Ali express. Then, very interesting, advocating for bosch- a proprietary, locked down system where you have to take your bike to an 'authorized repair' place, and take out a loan to get it fixed.
This company makes great stuff. They will be around for awhile. Bike sharing has its problems, but that doesn't mean everything it touches is itself a problem.
I'm sorry, but they need a better representative to speak to people like you. Her English is so poor and so thick it's virtually impossible to understand what she's saying most of the time. They say they test each motor for two years companies only been around for seven years how many motors are they selling, if you get my point, I don't think that they have tested two years on each motor design.
