I have always liked the look of Trudons holiday collections for the past couple years. This years theme, Winter Charms, is by far my favorite from them yet. I had to get my hands on one of these luxury holiday collection candles. 5 incredible luxury scents that was hard to decide between. I wish I could have gotten the entire holiday collection but decided to go with Spella for its woody, amber scent profile.

You burn your Trudon’s for 4 hours at a time? I always get nervous to go that long because that booklet says to not even go above 2! 😅 I often have to bust the tin foil out to heat up the edges and prevent tunneling.

On the Trudon website, it states that they use a mixture or vegetable wax and paraffin. Isn't that bad according to what you've said before?

Hello my friend, Iv watched your video about best candles and there ranking. What I’m worried about is the toxicity of the candles and if they have negative impacts on your skin and inside the body. Also I smellt the Gabrielle one and it smells the best for me.

P.F. Candle Co. and Skandinavisk are mostly clean (paraben and pthalate free). They are climate neutral and B Corp companies respectively. They do use fragrance oils, so ventilate your room and you shouldn't have any reactions. If you want candles that are completely non-toxic, check out Juniper Ridge or Cellar Door Candle Company. They use only steam-distilled essential oils sourced from plants and trees.

I like to burn candles for long hours like 4 to 8 hours, does it actually affect the scent or wax for continuous burning that long? As most of the instructions always says burning time of much lesser than that.

Theres a couple reasons why its suggested to burn for a set amount of time. One, is so the vessel doesnt overheat and potentially break (if its glass or percelain). Two, carbon will eventually begin to buildup on the wick which will cause sooting.
