Hey man, this was amazing, I'd love to see more stuff about exploiting games, maybe an older game with a newer glitch could be an interesting topic too
“Zelda Escape” is hilarious to me. Like, link just lets Zelda fall into the water and screw off to do his own thing in the sky instead of catching her.
You could make the percent lower by seeing how little completion you need for the setup file to still work. This wouldn’t actually change the percent but it’s something else to optimize.
@@shroomian2739 The semi-official low% rules include more stuff, like unique weapons and items collected. So stuff like skipping the Purah Pad, only using a single weapon and/or bow, using no Fairies, using no rubies etc would count for the semi-official category. I say semi-official because they rules aren't set in stone yet. the category is still really new and niche.
Like Timber said, the flag for infinite durability gets turned off after going to the tot. You can clip out of the room, disable the flag, then clip back in and break the dms.@@TotemPear
no i think he means he took 3 hours getting a decayed master sword that can break in his inventory@@Palemis i could be wrong tho so dont take this as fact
Given the theme of time travel in the series, I love the idea that future Link is sending help to his past self. Incredible video, and incredible ending!
2:55 transition is pure gold, had to look at it more than twice and still my brain is far away from catching it
"First, you take the dinglepop, and you smooth it out with a bunch of schleem. The schleem is then repurposed for later batches. Then you take the dinglebop and push it through the grumbo, where the fleeb is rubbed against it. It's important that the fleeb is rubbed, because the fleeb has all of the fleeb juice. Then a Shlami shows up and he rubs it, and spits on it. Then you cut the fleeb. There's several hizzards in the way. The blaffs rub against the chumbles, and the plubus and grumbo are shaved away. That leaves you with a regular old plumbus!"
Wow that lined up perfectly for me. I watched SmallAnts video, then the GSI skip video, then since Timber said he would put out a 0% video I went to see if that was up, watched it, and only afterward realized it was literally uploaded minutes before I went to watch it. Thank you Timber! You are awesome!
I really appreciate how, even if you've explained a glitch in the past you still go over it, enough so that people who have never watched one of your videos is able to understand what is going on. EDIT: Let's get him to 25k before the next guide comes out guys!
@@TimberwolfeeCongrats on 25k lol, it's been cool to see your growth from such a small following as an underrated creator, to getting the attention you deserve!😄
If I had a nickel for every Zelda game where you can gain infinite height by spamming a jump attack that gets instantly cancelled due to being in a glitchy state, I'd have two nickels
I don’t ever intend to do anything in this video, but I find it unbelievably fascinating. The amount of research, trial, and error that you must go through is crazy to imagine! Great video 🖤
after so many Zelda games have back in time glitches and alternate saves, as well as staring at items for multiple hours, we've constructed a narrative where the goddess powers really just boil down to timeline hopping to hack time space lol
@@sinteleon Well yes but actually no because in OOT, the optimal speedrun simply changes the fabric of reality to warp to the ending immediately, so it's less "back and forth" and more "I am actually just God now" LOL
@@shirakorimio1363 I'm not referring to the speedrun, I'm referring to the ending where Link is sent back in time and they just stopped ganondorf before everything could go down.
I just found your channel yesterday with the video skipping the great sky island. You said at the end that you would try to achieve 0%, and I was psyched. I didn't realize that you would release it so fast! This is awesome, thanks for some amazing content.
I really like the way you make videos. I already commented about you posting the music you’re using in the last video, but your whole editing style really appeals to me. Great work!
This is easily one of the coolest videos I've ever watched on RU-vid! I discovered you yesterday through SmallAnt's "Tears of the Kingdom but Key Items are not allowed" video, and now you upload this today. I love everything about this!
Amazing Video! And hearing that you have more stuff actually planned already is honestly super nice. You have a great narrating voice, your editing is good and not over the top. It's all just really good. Have a great day!
it was really fun to see the whole journey documented in a really good pair of videos, grateful to be able to look into the world of discovering glitches in such a good format
Usually i play videos in the background while i do other stuff. But your videos make me watch the whole thing with my full attention! Lol you really are something else Timber ❤
This gave me a reason to finish watching the GSI Skip video... Also keep up the great work and maybe I'll buy a "Void Cat Crew Patch!" But seriously this is a lot of hard work for the community and also I love how you don't plead for subscribers or members. Thank you for all your hard work.
I really hope your channel pops off and you blow up!!! I’d love to see you do Zelda randomizer runs of any of the games in the series using all glitches!!! The GSI and 0% stuff is so cool tooo! ❤
Literally seconds off of watching the no tears no kingdom vid, cant believe i caught it so early!! Oumped as heck, you got so much dedication to problem solving it is impressive, thank you for sharing all this!
I saw some of your streams with the early version before it was known you could dip under the box at the Zelda catch. I had a lot of fun showing off the Link seeking dragon and poking around at the southern stable and causing some real weird things to happen! It is such a cool glitch.
This video has the style of anime: “You didn’t know, but I prepared this and that before”. And then there are shots of all other surprise preparations. Badass outcome!
Can I just say, I love that you put the music not only in the description (at least last video), but also on-screen when a new track starts. It's a minor thing but so many youtubers don't bother even citing their music and I appreciate that you do.
After just watching your video on getting to Gannon without leaving sky island to now beating the game 0% I am mega impressed by your time and dedication to this amazing feet
i recently transcribed the whole orchestra cover of the demon dragon battle for a piano cover and i thought I am insane. This video and the GSI skip video humbles me......
so dumb how i saw the other video literally 6 hours ago and this one released like an hour after good storytelling and really entertaining, hope u blow up
I gotta admit, I had my doubts when you said you’d be going for 0.00% in the GSI skip video. I figured there would be some unavoidable 0.01% bs that was nonetheless still impressive. But it’s a good thing I subscribed anyway, because YOU FREAKING DID IT, ZERO COMPROMISES!😆 Only problem now is having to top a literal worlds first 0.00% completion!😅
the zelda series remains the king of the low% speedrun category. infamously, the twilight princess low% requires link to stare at an item for seventeen hours while he slowly clips backwards through a wall so that he doesn't need to get a key. hope we can 0.00% speedruns of this game in the future, because this tech you've developed and amassed is INCREDIBLY fun and i'd love to see it refined and honed
YESSSS SOMEONES FINALLY MAKING A NARRATED ENGLISH VIDEO ON ESCAPING THE DRAGON FIGHT!!!!!! i'm so excited i discovered the japanese videos on it a bit ago and i hope eventually there will be an english video on all of the oddities that come with it
Listening to all the glitches you know and the names of them reminds of the interdimensional cable episode of Rick and Morty. "First they attach the shleeb. There's many hizzards in the way."
This is fantastic! I love how well you explain everything. Also out of curiosity after Zelda Escape are there any changes in the world, or is all the gloom still there LOL Someday nintendo will let us keep playing after we win and we can just hang out with zelda. Someday
So now you need a way to glitch things into being activated or something in order to potentially actually be able to explore the surface or something? I wonder if there's a way to transfer the state of activation gates between saves, that's the only way i can think of, if it were possible.
Do you keep that korok you grabbed from Hyrule Castle? If so, could this open up a challenge run of “get the most stuff while the game says you are at 0% completion”?
