but altimeter senses changes in static pressures, not temperature. Warmer air means low pressure and as we climb we find lesser pressure. so I dont understand why when we find warmer air (lower pressure) we're taking into account temperature to say indicated altituded if that doesn't deal with altimeter instrument.
