Captain, I'm a First Officer and subscriber who always come back to your videos. I had a recent simulator assessment with a big operator in Asia, and passed the sim assessment. The rest, iq test etc is up to me, hopefully goes all the way. I want to thank you for your educational approach. Everything from your QDM videos and DME arc to various topics have been super helpful and I could directly pinpoint some tricks to you "ah.. this scenario from Gabrieles videos" I owe you a beer and a thank you. Like many others who makes requests, I have one If you ever get time to do it. A video with rules of thumbs and quick thinking. Example, you forgot to correct for cold weather, and you are on final, what mental calculations do you do? Or a engine failure in cruise, what's your mental steps? 1. I will do this, 2. Then this etc. Thanks, much love.

Been a really long time since I got a notification. Been here (using another account) since before the 1K subscribers, I recall about 130 subs. Now at 14k subs. What a ride. Glad I got recommended a video again.

Thank you very much for great knowledge and video. May i know what is threshold crossing hight? What is the use? Why important? in pilot perspective? I have read some books however it is so hard to understand.

even in ILS approach last part of landing is visual only so , is it not required to ensure correct QNH to avoid any hard landings ?

Hello Gabriele, Please, can you make videos about RNP and why pilots need to set different RNP values into the FMS depending on airport? For example 0.3 NM or 0.1 NM accuracy.
@CameTo
@CameTo Год назад
Pilots don't set RNP values, they are prescribed, and they aren't entered into the FMS, they are already in the database. If you question why RNP varies at different times, perhaps that's something PilotClimb channel can better answer

Thanks for watching guys... I'll make a video about that in the future.. anyway the RNP is a requirement that changes depending on the phase of the flight and aircraft certification... take care guys!!

@@PILOTCLIMB Thanks Gabriele, RNP videos are more than welcome. Also about RNP-AR. What I want to know is, if the charts say: No Baro-VNAV allowed below 10 degrees Celsius. What happens if the temperature falls below 10 deg C? This means that during a RNP the vertical guidance is via VNAV, not PAPI light, correct? Also please make a Significant weather chart video where you talk about Tropopause. Especially how to use the Tropopause values during a longer flight with significant changing Tropopause values and how you would enter these values during a flight into the FMC or FMGS. Thank you.
