Hi Paul, I'm loving this series. I've had a PC based oscilloscope (Hantek 6022BE) for a few years now and really haven't had much use for it till now, so it's great to learn how to put it to use. Thank you Paul for passing along these more advanced lessons. I always find them helpful .. Love the idea of integrating the OpAmp as you mentioned . They have always been a weak topic in my knowledge bank .

Great discussion as always! Since these live sessions are a chance to jump ahead I would like to see one showing how you would control something using the R4's wifi capability. For example - turning the built in LED located on the R4 on/off remotely from a computer or phone. Thanks.

Excellent analog video. I really like the scope. My scope has the I2C RS232 SPI decoder, which is handy for MODBUS stuff. ✨ The sin-wave example is nice. Thank you Paul. I like the live-streams and op-amps is a great jewel subject. . 💎

Trigger on the falling edge of the sawtooth to solve the jitter. Note the jitter may be noise picked up by the scope probes rather than a noisy DAC output. You won't see stair steps using increments of 1 no matter how much you slow it down because the steps are 1/255th of each ramp and you simply can't see that resolution on the scope screen.

Maybe use op amp as filter. Produce 60 to 10k warble with DAC. Make op amp only let 2k - 3k thru kind of thing. Absolutely love your courses. Thank you.

Is the simulated sine wave negative for half the cycle or is it positive for the entire cycle like a sine wave shifted up by one half the amplitude?

I don't understand the lines in your code: int freq(1000); wave.square(freq); Why isn't the first line just: int freq = 1000;
