The name Dove Tales came from doves representing peace and my approach to telling the stories of these victims in a documentary style to further honor their lives in a peaceful way.
My first series is referred to as “Forget Me Not.” I’m creating true crime content about cases primarily based in Atlanta or New York.
I will also be posting a secondary series “Angel Moms,” to highlight women who lost their lives due to medical negligence or pregnancy complications. Maternal mortality rates are at an all time high, especially for women of color - it’s time to shed light on the moms lost to these circumstances.

I’m 63. I saw Brownstone live back in the mid-1990s. They were on tour with Anita Baker headlining and Frankie Beverly and Maze. Brilliant show. All performances were awesome. RIP Maxee. ❤🙏

Maxee and I became close friends shortly after I signed with RCA/BMG. We met on a Keith Sweat tour when I was singing background for Mark Morrison. She was a very sweet soul and we hung out at her place almost everyday at one point when she was going through a tough break up with him. She was very depressed and emotionally and mentally distraught because of the way he mistreated her. She would cry all the time and I would go by and see her to check on her everyday because her state of mind seemed very fragile and she didn’t want to leave her apartment. We would drink Chardonnay all the time because she liked it. He tore her apart inside and she told me they were off and on a lot and she just felt helpless. I encourage her to let him go and move on but she didn’t seem to have the courage or strength to choose herself over him. Years later she got her man back and they married and had a son and that’s what she really wanted. After I heard she passed and the story of what happened i immediately knew he had something to do with it. From things she shared with me years before he sounded like he didn’t really want to be with her and just kept her hanging on a string. It seemed very one sided with her being totally in love with him. It pissed me off!!! I don’t care what rumors or gossip says…I feel he did it period!!! I remember all the things she shared with me about him and how he hurt her repeatedly. He was cold af towards her. My oldest sons father worked with him on “I Love Me Some Him” as one of the writers but I never met him. She deserved so much better. I miss you my wonderful friend 💜🎼

As someone who's been in the medical field for well over 25 years and a huge Brownstone fan, I have never and will not ever accept the manner they said she passed away. The only reason I feel like the cause of death wasn't throughly investigated is because her husband is Caucasian. What's done in the dark always comes to light. Rip Maxie.❤

I have been in the medical field as well! But only as a Certified Nurse Assistant (AKA) CNA. But anyone should know that it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that that’s not what really happened to her sounds too!…, FAR-FETCHED!!! There are so many RedFlags in that story that it angers me. She fell with a wine glass in her hand and landed on top of it and it slit her neck! Wow! 😱😱😱 COME ON! What do they think we are?… COMPLETE IDIOTS!!!! 🤬 Who ever deleted her took her away from her son and those who loved her. May she Rest in Peace!!! Well I am not in the medical field but I can read various news articles! The wine glass didn't slit her throat! She fell backwards on broken glass that punctured the BACK of her neck! She was home alone with her 10 year old son. When her husband arrived home he found her bleeding to death! The police interviewed family members & found no evidence of domestic violence! Her brother tweeted about her death and never posted any accusations of foul play against her husband!

Keep this story alive because it is bizarre. Come to find out, her white husband is a powerful and well known producer in the entertainment industry. It is said that he is/was abusive to his romantic partners. And one of those partners was Tracie Spencer. Back then, we only had magazines and some TV shows reporting the gossip, which would be heavily censored. We didn’t know a lot about this dude and his love affairs. The only saving grace is that mur000 doesn’t have a time limit. I hope she gets justice.

A piece of the story is missing. Maxee had a broken leg with a caste on it. I believe that he had a mishap with a dog or she was riding a bike… either way, she lost control and slipped. Then she ended up getting cut.

Buy a steak. Try to fully pierce it with a piece of broken wine glass. Try with all your might. Human tissue is too tough AND wine glasses too delicate and thin. Before the glass can pierce that deep the glass would break. The *only* scenario that makes sense. Is if she fell directly on a broken stem. And it went in like an ice pick. Whoa! I thought tracie and soulshock were married since the late 90s and thought they had a kid 🤯! Never knew he was married to Maxie! And I thought Maxie passed away from a medical illness 😩. I’m positive I remember hearing tracie and soulshock were together in 99. I remember because soulshock and karlin produced for 702 and shola ama around that time and ppl were talking about it. Gossip smh but I can’t believe how wrong I was about the cause of death. Mandela effect or something 🕊🕊

The so called story of her demise is beyond bizarre and if its not altogether true I believe karma or a higher power will sort it out. Rest in peace to that beautiful woman and her lovely voice...Brownstone was an awesome group and their cover of the eagles song I Cant Tell You Why is superb. ❤

She fell without letting go of the glass, which then conveniently landed right under her throat, cutting her twice, hitting major arteries. And she hit her head. Hmmm... Maybe she wanted a divorce, and he didn't want to be divorced from his assets.

Thanks for the info. I never knew she passed away until I came across the video. May she RIP. I don't think it sounds bogus, people pass away from freak accidents all the time. But I'm also not a crimes investigator, so what do I know? If it was foul play, I hope she gets justice.
