Did you have to get it tuned due to back firing during deceleration ???

I've been running "to drool" fishtails on my pan shovel for about 15 years.

Will you sell me the Fish Tales you're taking off they might fit my vn800 Kawasaki Indian Drifter

we for sure lost power and throttle response when installing these. We DID NOT have the bike dyno tuned though. We ran a plug chop and nothing was unhappy in the bike so we left it roll. These were added soley for the Vtwin "potato potato" exhaust note

just look at a dyno sheet bub. pretty simple. Unless you have a high rpm high hp race only motor, you need backpressure

Thanks! And good luck searching for your next road king! Great bikes and depending what direction you want it to go there are some ways to save money as your buying. The bike in this video started its life as a road king classic (maroon paint and leather bags). We did a full makeover on that bike and it’s actually more economical to do it that way then it was to buy a road king with hard bags from the start. I’m subbing you now, can’t wait to see that king

The true dual headers we had laying around. You can normally find used true dual head pipes on eBay for a decent price. The fishtails seems Wyatt Gatling. We got them off of amazon.

So it’s just slip on with true duel exhaust

We didn’t change the tune at all, we ran it as it was, the bike ran fine without tuning but it could have ran better. I would recommend at least a piggy back tune from power commander if your going from stock to true duals with these tail pipes. If your retaining the stock headers and just these tail pipes you should be just fine without

I didn’t, the 88 isn’t a real power hungry motor to start with. It ran fine after the exhaust and Intake.

I cleaned the intake looks like a k & n i got a true duals headers with the slip on Bessani on a 2001 road king classic but everyone saids its a 103 & i should tune it after that.. remind you i dont know much about harleys

Shouldn’t be a 103 on an 01 unless somebody swapped it, if you do have a 103 you definitely would want some kind of engine management
