Hands down the best years of snowboarding history

I just took my 2 sons boarding for the first time in their lives on New Years, exactly 22 years since I first learned to snowboard. It brought back so many memories for me from when I used to board back in the day with my friends and family. When we got home from taking them boarding, I decided to climb up in the attic and pull out my old gear. As I dusted off my Devun Walsh pro 157 circa 2000-2001 board, I was flooded with memories of boarding in fresh powder and looking up to all my favorite Forum pros as all my friends did. We would play True life along with the other Forum videos all night and then go and hit it on the mountain run after run all day as if we had endless energy. Now, 22 years later, I haven’t snowboarded in 9 years, but I look forward to passing on the love of the sport to my 2 sons and sharing memories of the “good old days” as they grow in the sport.

Oh god, best years of my life I swear to god. Maybe now I am better rider, maybe I know more, but those years were pure joy and magic. This video and Decade are my all time favourites.

I have great memories of watching these Mack Dawg films from around when they came out, going up boarding at our local resort Snowbasin having season passes with a close group of friends all going over 40 times a year, not sure our bodies can still handle the same thrashing, maybe just out of practice! Either way, inspiring / chill videos with great music selection and fun vibes... I need to give boarding another go, lol.. been a few years now! X___X

Just brought back so many memories! I remember watching these videos in the morning getting pumped up to go ride and then just playing it all the time while chillen at my house cause the sound track was so good.

true life, happy hour, night of the living shred, December, and 411VM snow when Chad taught me backside 5s in the trick tip section, i believe it was around 2000, because I was ten years old. I still have it on VHS, 411VM snow, Kingpin, and of course my favorite of all, the g Mack Dawg productions. yeah I agree with other comments, they don't make snowboard films like they used to, its a bummer, kids got to technical and forgot about style, they all had the same steeze, just my opinion. and i respect those groms, im just saying its not all about doing 1440s, sometimes half cabs look dooper. This video is fun don't get me wrong but it has to be the worst video MDP ever put out lol, 20 minutes long, everyone's injured, still hitting the same spots they hit the past 5 years, a bunch of sloppy tricks that look like B-reel footage... Compare it to what Robot Food was putting out around that time and it's night and day.

If I had the choice I'd want to ride street and park like Pat Moore and backcounty like Devun Walsh. How sick of a combo is that?!?!
