True Power Series: Sasori! 

Too good of a character to be defeated in first arc of Shippuden. Such a shame.

Its also important to mention that he was like fourteen when he killed the third kazekage.

Sasori was one of favorite characters he basically go Zabuza'd . First arc defeat. Also he really f'd himself with that big target on his chest. But his depression is what really killed him. He was super op on paper. Also that line "I heard you beat a castle with the 10 white puppets", I conquered a nation with this 100" !

My boy Sasori was kage level to kill the Third Kazekage without anyone knowing. Chiyo and Sakura didn't defeat him, he killed himself.

Imagine if Sasori turned all the akatsuki members into human puppets. He would be the strongest ninja alive.

Finally someone who appreciates Sasori as much as I do. A lot of people overlook him just because he doesn't have godlike abilities.

Sasori's biggest weakness was himself. He had a change of heart and committed suicide.

The most underrated akasuki member and my favorite member. I believe the iron sand or just the sand manipulation ability in general is underrated because I think you use so many easier methods to kill your enemies(you should be able to shred body parts into meaty chunks in the air and all over the ground, hence the red sand. And it has his position in it, and when you think about it sasori could not only creat wings with it he could also possibly create melee weapons, shrapnel needles and mimick the form of his hiruko tail. This man had no business dying the way he did, and he was voiced by ichigo I mean damn. When he fought sakura and chiyo he really didn’t need to bring the third kazekage puppet close to her for charging Attack.

Like half of that Akatsuki deaths it just ended up being the perfect matchup for them to lose. One scratch and it was over for you, he had a puppet army, metal release, could transfer bodies seamlessly, felt no pain, his main body was a modified puppet with multiple lethal abilities. Sakura just happened to have an antidote and Chiyo just happened to also be a puppet master.

Imagine sasori and orochimaru still being partners......... Those two would destroy small countrys.

Kankuro should have died! That would have casted a dark shadow over all the rest of the arc. Chiyo then could have discovered the antidote after Kankuro's death and keep everything else the same. The audience would have witness first hand how much it takes to kill a single akatsuki member, Ten-Ten could have also died to Deidara's explosion. The rest of the show would have had a different feel if Akatsuki's kill list had started at 2 right from the begining.

I love sasori as a character because he doesn't have a masive chakra pool but instead he has incredible knowledge of the human body and that is what makes him so deadly

I don't think people realize that most of Akatsuki were easily kage level. Only one that is debatable is hidan but thats only in terms of combat. Since he was immortal and had that broken ass ritual ability he could definitely kill a kage who didnt have shikamaru level plot armor. Zetsu wasn't really a combatant anyway so I don't count him. Deidara easily defeated the 5th kazekage while holding back, and defeated the 3-tails. He fought CS2 Hebi sasuke with white snake powers to an almost stalemate (might I remind you that CS2 was like going into a tail bijuu cloak form, plus he has orochimaru's snake powers, in terms of physical combat Hebi sasuke was definitely stronger than MS sasuke, MS sasuke just had better Hax powers). Deidara while in Edo form was fighting equally with the tsuchikage (who madara stated was better than the other kage). So yes Deidara was easily kage level, stronger than most kages. Kakuzu was beating MS Kakashi, where MS Kakashi was already a hokage candidate anyway. Plus him and hidan beat the 2 tails easily without any injuries. He fought hashirama and survived, which I highly doubt any of the current kage could survive against hashirama. Theyd get stomped. So Kakuzu is definitely kage level. Kisame butt-fucked Killer Bee and was holding back the whole time to keep him alive. He literally spanked V2 Killer Bee, who was easily stronger than the kages in his V2 form (If cloaked V1 Bee was able to match raikage in speed and power since he needed to in order to do the double lariat, then V2 was definitely stronger than raikage). After he beat killer bee and was going to cut off his legs he even said "Looks like even the 8-tails was a weakling too" Meaning Kisame was FAR stronger than Killer Bee. Only thing that saved Killer Bee was probably the biggest and most powerful Plot No Jutsu in the entire series. Plus, it took Guy 7 GATES to beat Kisame WHO DIDNT EVEN HAVE SAMEHADA. So Kisame, especially fused with samehada would stomp any of the 5 kage and is easily kage level. Sasori beat the most powerful Kazekage in history. He only lost to Chiyo because of Plot No Justu as well (he just wanted to get hugged by mommy and daddy so he got stabbed on purpose). And btw, Chiyo was capable of using A-rank and S-rank jutsu which are all kage level techniques. He took down a small nation too. Oh and deidara said sasori was the stronger one of the pair. So he's easily kage level. Pain and Itachi. . . I don't need to say more about them. They'd butt-fuck the kage easily

My favorite Akatsuki member, ruthless and definitely one of the most dangerous members. I loved how he and deidera argued about their respective views on art. Also loved how deidera told naruto and company that they should be glad that they're fighting him and not Sasori, respect. Sasori my man.

He's probably immune against all forms of genjutsu and probably Infinite Tsukuyomi too. He has no actual cerebral nervous system (where the chakra flows) which needs to be controlled by the user in order to create the genjutsu. And he's puppet so he shouldn't have "normal" eyes, at least human ones that connects to the brain.

Sasori is often underestimated being defeated by Sakura & Chiyo. But let us not forget, those 2 characters are too, not to be underestimated. Sakura, at that time, was the prime disciple of the 5th Hokage & best medical ninja. She exhibited to be as strong & smart as her mistress. Chiyo, besides being an adept medical nin, was a master puppeteer able to control the 10 puppets created by the inventor of the Puppet Technique that was famed to have taken down an entire castle. Also, Chiyo was an expert in poison, she was famed to poison a lot of Sand's enemies using her puppets & poison, only to be countered by the medical ninjutsu of Tsunade. Sasori could have easily killed them though. He could, but somehow he didn't. Chiyo, in the end, commented that he could have easily dodged her final attack but somehow chose not to. Sasori wanted to die by the hands of the very first set of puppets he made. For even though he no longer feels any physical pain, the emotional pain he suffered from the lost of his parents was too much. And being an artist, it was only perfect to die besides his "parents".

This made me appreciate Sasori even more, this dude is fire!! Great video as always!!

I love Sasori; my third favorite Akatsuki member after Pain and Itachi. I will never forget that moment in Shippuden where the Third Kazekage, Mother and Father puppets clashed at high speed with Reverse Situation as the soundtrack. I never really cared for Kankuro or his puppets, but Sasori made them legitimately awesome in my eyes. It's such a shame that he appeared in the first arc and never really got to show everything he had. Sasori had far too much potential, both through his own skills and the powers of the Human Puppets in his possession.

I have always thought that he was immune to genjutsu. He also has a massive wall of defense with the puppets. The most ridiculous thing is that; while fighting Sasori, getting touched once is death if you don't have someone to heal you.

I agree with his designation of Sasori... The ability to use poison and the Casual residual nature of his attack abilities make him extremely dangerous. Even when you think of all of the other Akatsuki members , while they have more overt destructive capabilities , it only takes one cut from Sasori to poison them. Hidan is too situational and conditional. He's mostly a blood nights and that does not go well against somebody who's poison can immobilize you and prevent you from mounting an actual offense. Factor the puppets, and he would reduce Hidan into a meat sack. Kisame suffers from similar exposure as he is an in your ass berserker. It's not that he's dumb but he would be the type to entertain the seemingly benign, and end up dead by poison. He would fare better than Hidan by A LOT but again....one cut. Kakuzu is smart af and would most likely push an offensive so that Sasori couldn't get cute with mobilizing his nasty poisons. The destructive power of his masked beasts give him an edge as well. Assuming his vine growths aren't linked to his nervous system, he should do better, but I feel like it's a toss up between them. Konan is fucked.... Deidara would probably lose unless he came serious out the gate, and even then, his attacks feel like they take too much set up to beat Sasori to the draw. Itachi would have to cook this man with amatarasu or murder him withSusanoo.Genjutsu is useless as Sasori isn't alive in the conventional sense. Dude is barely human, and doesn't even use stamina...which Itachi barely has due to the illness. One cut is all it takes. Sasori is functionally an immortal cyborg of sorts. Genjutsu is useless. Pain compliance is useless. He can command 100 puppers, all of which retain their abilities and bloodlines, as well as poisoned weapons. Sasori is capable of nasty attacks that work to maximize the capacity to maim, with a working residual in poison. If it doesn't kill you, you're fucked anyway if you breath it or get it in you via blood.

I remember Sasori introducing the Third Kazekage to Sakura and Chiyo and he did that “killer sweet” Puppeteer Battle Stance, showing that he has the absolute WEAPON/TROPHY/SOUVENIR/FACT of The Sand period. Deidara says it best... SASORI MY MAN!

Glad finally someone is putting some respect on Sasori, he's one of my top 3 favorite characters in the entire series and most people don't think much of him since he was the first Akatasuki to die.

Sasori is VERY UNDERRATED! No matter how powerful you are, a scratch from him would be enough to kill you. He was just matched up with the perfect counter. A highly skilled medical ninja that has already the counter for his poison and one of the best puppet masters who knows most of sasori's attack patters and hidden weapons. Had it naruto and kakashi fought him, those two would be dead without even seeing the true appearance of sasori.

The only reason Sakura even stood a chance at all against Sasori was because Chuyo helped her...the only person Who knew him well enough to survive a very very short fight with him and even then he only died because he couldn't bring himself to destroy the puppets of his parents

With puppets having abilities of the original body, Sasori basically created his own version of Edo Tensei

I too underestimated Sasori because puppetry isn't portrayed that powerfully, but Sasori from his inception was shown as one of the stronger Akatsuki members going by the databook- he is stronger than every other Akatsuki member barring Itachi, Orochimaru, Pain, Konan, and Obito.....three of which have all powerful dojutsu. I think Sasori's strength lies in his skill and finesse- he is intelligent, almost completely without emotion, and downright lethal. His puppet body basically means he has infinite stamina as he feels no pain, doesn't get tired, he is probably immune to genjutsu considering he isn't close to human at all. But not many ninjas out there will be able to dodge every single attack of Sasori, that is why he is so dangerous, it takes just one scratch for him to turn the tables- one!!! He is a ninja that you cannot let the battle draw out, got to finish him quick. We have only seen two of his human puppets in any meaningful way, but we know he had many, all of which had abilities. Still, it is clear the main threatening one is the 3rd Kazekage, that puppet alone gives him a plethora of jutsu and options in battle. Basically 3rd kazekage can do almost everything Gaara does and more- but Sasori's fighting style would of course influence how he uses the 3rd Kazekage's power.

Did you people even watch the anime?/Read the manga? The man is immune to genjutsu, has 298 HUMAN puppets, that he said himself preffered quality over quantity. Which means he had 297 other extremely strong ninjas, like the Third Kazekage etc,(Who knows? Maybe he collected other kekke genkais overtime, All he said was that 3rd was his fav one ) and we know he can use multiple puppets at a time. He's a walking edo tensei. He has a near instant ko poison that can only be cured by the 2 best medics in the world Tsunade/Sakura. He can replace his body if destroyed... Shit, If he just uses the Third Kazekage, he can fly up in the air and fight like Gaara if he wishes.... Orochimaru was cautious of him, he was confident enough to want to kill Orochimaru alone. There were several things in the manga that hinted he was one of the top tier Akatsuki members lol

So basically if sasori managed to kill kabuto at the bridge and turned him into a puppet, he could have discovered the reanimation jutsu and been able to have an entire army of all the greatest shinobi kabuto collected AND 99 others (kabuto being the 100th puppet of his jutsu) at the tip of his fingers?!?! Now that kind of potential is OP, this video made me put respek on Sasori’s name. Great video, helped me build perspective!

Dang I wish we had more time with sasori he is such an awesome character with him being a puppet master and genius on top of that.

Sasori also let himself die at the end. Lady chio says to Sakura “he knew my trap was there.” So, it took two people to kill him even though he technically killed him self.

I wish Sasori had evaded Chiyo and Sakura, and perhaps even faked his death, making them believe that they killed his final puppet. So much wasted potential, and one of my favorite characters.

Sasori is by far the most underrated member. I'd say he's the fourth strongest after the obvious top 3. 5th strongest if you include Orochimaru, but even Orochimaru didn't want none of that directly so engaged him in a cold war... This means that he was at least powerful enough to ensure some mutual destruction with a devil like Orochimaru

Sasori tends to get crap because he was defeated by granny chiyo, an old lady, and sakura, a little girl, but the only reason he was beaten was because granny chiyo knew about his fighting style with ninja puppets and sakura was able to make an antidote against his poison. Sasori may not be a real powerhouse, compared to Kisame and Kakuzu, but certainly makes it up for in weaponry and unpredictability.

I think that deserve a third ninja war arc. It would be great to see Sasori, Minato and all the other at their prime. Also we could get a second war arc as well, so that we can see Konoha's White Fang.

Sasori is easily one of the strongest Akatsuki. People only say he isn’t is because of their hate for Sakura which is really stupid. It’s one of the best fights in Naruto and all of his tricks that he had really made him a tough opponent to beat.

Been waiting for this too, sasori is so savage but underrated since the whole sakura situation even though he pretty much let them win, he beat the 3rd and he was considered the strongest kazekage at the time

Lady Chiho is really strong because she was able to go up to Hanzo and survive in the second great ninja war while the Legendary Sanin couldn’t even stand up to him. And Sasori was also able to go head to head with Orichimaru and win even though Orichimaru wasn’t trying his best he still stood up against him.

Sasori was extremely deadly

The fact that Orochimaru considered Sasori an equal despite how young Sasori was (by comparison) is a testament to Sasori's overwhelming prowess.

Sasori may not be the strongest member of the Akatsuki (but definitely in the top 3 or 4) BUT he is probably the most dangerous. He is not patient, he will kill you without you even noticing it. A true psychopath. He just doesn’t seem to care at all Ok so another thing that I would like to add here is the spectrum between impatience and impulsiveness. Sasori is impatient but not impulsive, quite the contrary. He likes to take his time but he doesn’t like other taking up his time. He doesn’t care about honour or other people’s opinions about him. Artists are crazy like that, they get lost in their creation and it gives them a sense of serving a higher purpose. As an artist myself, I sometimes cannot believe that mere humans like myself am able of creating such masterpieces that speak to people on deep philosophical level.

I think aside from Itachi, Sasori is probably the strongest of them... Pain could probably take him had Sasori not known about Nagatos true body but as he does I dont think he'd lose that fight either. Hidan ofc is immortal but on the other hand, his techniques wouldnt work on Sasori either as he doesnt bleed... assumin Hidan could even his Sasori in the first place. Im pretty sure Hidans temper would get the better of him and Sasori would outsmart him in a similar fashion to who Shikamaru beat him. Both Itachi and Sasori only lost cuz they *let* the opponent win, really... In theory theyre still undefeated. ¨ Good Video. Would love to see an analysis on who would win between Itachi and Sasori. As I already stated I think Itachi would win that one but its not like Id deem Sasori counted out before the match even starts, but Itachi is just ridicolously strong.

Sasori is would be a GOAT if lived longer. he'd have the very OP particle style not to mention burning mist, Lava, sticky Lava and gigantic water style attacks, with the Raikage he can use him to blitz a lot of characters so overall he'd be pretty well rounded
