its probably drop B and using some kind of fuzz pedal(not big muff and not all the way up to 10 on the pedal,just there to give enough distortion) that's usually how you get that sound
@@punkoso22 and hot ass pickups, as I remember on one of his interviews. If I'm not mistaken, he even only used like a low gain od even into couple of Echoplexes
If this band had a better drummer they would sound fucking massive live. Don't get me wrong, the drummer they have is good for what they play. But I think they would benefit from a more experienced stickman.
Easy to say, Brady, but if it was different it would be different. When they hit the sweet spot, the fact that his tempo shifts and he plays minimally makes the whole thing breathe and sound massive. They are a true one off - it is what it is, it can't be 'better'. Very difficult music to play because it's a sonic thing, not a chops thing.
