Getting the Truma cowl vent dust cover can be tricky, particularly to those with arthritis, or nice fingernails.
It’s virtually a two handed job requiring a fair deal of opposing pressure ( pulling with finger tips at the short top lip whilst depressing a few centimetres below, with the thumbs on thr side body).
This ingenious ‘trauma saver’ tool ( because that’s what it is) easily removes the dust cover - even with one hand ( left or right. )
Posted to anywhere in Australia for less than $20 ( P&P and full pictorial instructions included).
Other methods particularly can openers, bottle openers and the like can damage the top lip and or puncture a hole in the side of the cover.
And they ain’t cheap to replace!!
