They can't be sued for lying because of this (which is why they're classified as entertainment otherwise they'd get sued non-stop for all the lies they report as if they were true). They were sued in court for lies years ago and labelled themselves as entertainment in their defense. Every other news channel like CNN, MSNBC, ABC news, etc. is classified by the FCC as news and thus have to uphold journalistic standards like being truthful, not being able to give money to candidates then host them on their show (which Hannity does), etc. The irony is that the fake news channel (Faux) calls the REAL news channels fake (!). We also now have a fake president calling the real news fake and the fake news real! Strange times indeed!

I know several people who work these venues (mostly security and concessions) and it's become a kind of serious scandal in the making. Many of Trump's die-hard supporters are retirees, you know, the people who decided to sell their homes and live out their golden years living the RV life, except instead of doing that they just quite literally have become Trump Rally roadies and go to every one they can. So when you see the crowds, you have no idea how many are from the area, like it's supposed to be, and how many are just bored older people with nothing better to do. They don't really force you to take a poll or anything to go to one, so the only way to tell how inflated these rally numbers are is to go out in the parking lot and start counting trailers... but of course that's not exactly hard data. Some tallies have estimated as much as half the audience might be from out of state, which as you can imagine is skewing the way it looks when you get the pan shot of a packed stadium and you think "oh, geez, that many local people came to his rallies?" when in fact that isn't true at all. Of course I don't get to hear much about the skewed numbers or the effect on viewership, I mostly get to hear about how stingy the old people for their t-shirts and how every time one of these events happens they end up with hundreds of confiscated water bottles because nobody wants to pay stadium prices.

If you say illegal immigrants don't get due process, well, then, what's to stop them from grabbing you and saying you're an illegal immigrant, then throwing you wherever? Your passport? What judge are you gonna show it to when they deny you due process? And even if you have 100% faith that none of those involved would do that, please think. Do you trust the next guy? How about the one after that?

No one is arguing against due process. Illegal immigrants should totally have the right to due process. If they're found to be illegal, they should get tossed back over the border along with their children and not allowed to stay because of some phony sense of compassion. Peace.
