What is hurting me about how this is being reported is that people seem to think that the Supreme Court's decision would hold any sway on this case. This was a NY State case--not a Federal case, and the criminal activity occurred in 2016 before he was ever elected as President and what done to influence that election--clearly not an 'official act' as President. Therefore, the Supreme Court's ruling cannot in any way be applied here because he was not in any elected office at that time. Additionally, because it's a State case, even if he is elected, he cannot pardon himself from these convictions.

The judge has already delayed this from July and is under NY law to proceed. September 18th is it. I am hopefull, given all the intimidation the judge shows no fear in throwing the book at him for the sake of justice and our democracy.
