I think it's pretty great. And not a new thing. A lot of people are not in fact retired at that age, and things are changing. Before the start of social security, it was the norm for people to work to an advanced age. It is perfectly healthy to work and a positive thing. Many people are working and winning the Nobel prize in their 60s and 70s. It is a proven myth that creativity and the ability to innovate or learn/grasp things quickly decreases with age or that energy goes down. Frank Lloyd Wright created some of his most iconic and influential designs well into his 80s. Your reality is what you accept to be true. Too many people use their age as an excuse for not doing anything.
I'm a physician who also acts in an administrative capacity - wash your hands, keep them away from your face, don't bother wearing masks under an N95 rating (unless you yourself are sick). I mentioned the administrative portion of my job because I was able to order hand sanitizer from Staples just fine yesterday. If you can't find it, you can easily make your own - Glycerine or aloe vera gel and greater than 60% ethyl alcohol content. Be alert and take prudent precautions, but don't panic. Panic never made anything better.
