Depends if there are other charges.Also, someone can get a protective order if someone verbally or written violence against you. So if you text or reply online to someone that you are going to hit them , then that's automatic PO . When hate speech started being tacked onto crime, it just branched out to verbal/online .

This was 100% intentional, and probably included the permission of RFK Jr. The staff probably didn't simply get the "go-ahead" from his son and comply.

Elad is saying what he thinks and that is needed, he does not just follow what others say but injects things that people can push back on with a structured argument and by doing so it enhances their opinions. He does not get mad or shout others down and people like Elad are needed otherwise it just becomes and echo chamber of the same opinions. Yes he can be annoying when he says the opposite of what others or the majority are thinking but that is a good way for people to learn not to bring your emotions to an argument.

My son got his shots(13 yrs ago) and that night was in the hospital with crazy fever and seizures .By the time he was ready to leave the hospital,my son no longer LOOKED AT YOU,SPOKE,ATE REGULAR FOOD, NO LONGER COULD HANDLE CERTAIN COLORS OR SOUNDS. They say its autism....BUT i think its brain damage from the high fevers which brought on seizures. Just a few short hours after his dr visit....i lost the bright,bubbly ,adventurous boy....

Tim, I completely understand where you're coming from and you're right to say that forgiveness is built into Christianity especially. However, as you also mentioned, true forgiveness requires true repentance and I seriously doubt most of what we've been seeing over the last few days will come with any kind of repentance. These people are recoiling in the face of backlash they don't actually want to reconcile.

But I would like to suggest a deeper study here because you are correct when it comes to asking forgiveness of sins from God, but not of man. When Peter asks Jesus how often to forgive the reply is ( not seven, but 77x7) in otherwords always be willing to forgive. That doesn't mean you don't be careful, expeciaif you see a pattern, but always be willing.

Biblical forgiveness is a funny thing. There's the couple in Acts Ananias and Sapphira. The early church were selling their land and giving the money to the apostles who distributed to believers in need. The husband sold their land but held back a portion of the proceeds for himself with his wife's knowledge. When he brought the remainder to the apostle he outed him. The man lied in the presence of the Holy Spirit and fell down dead. His wife arrived later and did same and she too dropped. If God has his hand and Spirit over a venture or opperation meant to benefit others its fatal to try and cheat under that blessed system. There is no forgivenes. You can forgive then you've done your part then release the offender into the hand of God and the rest is His business. Its said that it is a fearful thing to fall into the hand of God.

In the old America where we had an intact culture I don't think it would have been necessary to fire people over things they said. But this isn't the same country. We share it with millions of people who have no cultural roots to the USA, but also with many more who are native to it and despise it.
