The thing that really gets me is the GQPers acting like the DA just filed charges and Dump was indicted. There was a grand jury that listened to the evidence brought forward and the grand jury made the call that there was enough evidence of a crime! Plus as I've learned from Law & Order, the DA is not in the business of bringing crap cases to the grand jury!

But I did catch just a minute of his SUVs driving across the tarmac at LaGuardia headed back to his plane. I've heard a lot of how he was treated too lightly. I think that it is perfect. He wanted to be drawn before the cameras handcuffed, etc. to make him look like a political prisoner. He was denied that. They didn't give him a mugshot. That does take away his opponents' ability to weaponize it against him, but it also takes away his gain, which is to be a martyr. By doing all of this it makes it clear that this is a pursuit of justice. He won't get the media circus that he wanted.
