That point is (from a business standpoint) IF NATO is to remain viable there must be some "cost sharing". Simply, there are no "free rides" in life. NATO is now an American run welfare program that allows it's European member states to shirk their defense responsibilities. Had it been dissolved after the Cold War, European states that wished to cooperate could have crafted their own defense priorities. Instead it allows America to meddle in these countries and set their priorities. Europe has no expertise in mustering a large fighting force (why would they? Uncle Sam to the rescue!) to protect it's interests globally. NATO needs to be replaced with a Euro-centric (and Euro-funded) alliance that can protect itself. The good ole USA is tapped out.

This is how I look at it. You signed up for something and you must commit to what you signed. The same way if someone decides to get a loan and they don't pay it then the bank has a right to collect on that debt whether it be a house or car. So it is ok to take a house from a single mother of 4 kids but its not ok to ask a country to pay their requirement.

They made India do agriculture and then take it away. causing a massive famine every week. 2: Plundering of India's natural resources The British forced Indians to mine all the natural minerals in their country and carry them to the ports to be shipped back to England every day. extremely dangerous jobs, and these poor Indians weren't fed, and hundreds of millions succumbed to the exhaustion. The whole of India was ruled by only a handful of Britishers. Why India chose to never fight back baffles many to this day. Maybe India is just obedient by nature.
