If Alan weissenberg and Michael Cohen had to serve time then the criminal in Chief should also have to serve time, in fact he should serve more time because he didn't play it out he made the de earned every single ounce of his win. We’ve just seen that or just the system is broken. There was plenty of reasonable doubt to be had in this case. The jury failed the justice system. This will be over, turned in the highest court. It is a farce, and our supreme justices will see right through it.
I don't care about the gravity of a former president being found guilty. I'm ecstatic that our system finally worked to hold someone with money and power accountable for something anyone else would have struggled to defend. He had his defense. On to sentencing.

The crime was labeling the payments to Cohen as a legal expense, when they were reimbursements. He falsified business records - a misdemeanor in NY. It became a felony when it was determined he did it to hide the payments from voters ahead of the 2016 election. So, one crime hiding another crime and done 34 times equals 34 felony charges. HTH

Well, then. What exactly was he guilty of. The statute of limitations had run out. Even so. Three isn't a legitimate crime to put on him. He was a fantastic president who brought good things to the country. We were safer, more secure and had more money in our pockets, when Trump was president.
