As a Republican, I have always rejected dictators like Xi, Kim, and Putin-just as I now reject Trump, who openly admires them because his values align with theirs. He dreams of ruling as a dictator from day one, but we, the American people, won’t let that happen. We stand for freedom, not tyranny.

The new (open) border "security" bill, if passed, will have two major impacts: 1. It will codify and allow 5000 illegal immigrants to pass the border each day (almost 1.8 million per year) 2. Allow US tax payer money to be used for legal help for those illegal immigrants once they are inside the country (as opposed to the "Remain in Mexico" policy by the previous government, which will not allow illegal immigrants and asylum seekers in until their case is resolved) This means, border control may be overburdened with this new load and that may cause further delays on the already delayed immigration processing for legal immigrants in the queue unless border control is staffed/funded adequately. In terms of proposed funds for the bill, it was for $106 billion dollars and out of which only $14bn was for USA border security. The remaining was for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan. What's the need to roll everything into one bill?! Can't they create a separate bill for USA and separate one for others? Forget about whether you like it or not, has the media been honest in communicating this other than "Trump stopped it"? Please search for the RU-vid video where the Republican senators explain why they rejected it. Funny thing is, about 6 months ago, Ted Cruz even said "the Democrats know this bill will be rejected by majority Republican senators. They still try to pass it so that they can blame Republicans around election time".
