I am not a Republican nor do I live in Arizona, but I am an American. To see this man put his country and integrity over political party is giving me hope that our country has not fallen completely into the sunken place. The lies and liars must be stopped.

People forget, that they are American Citizens FIRST, party affiliations are generally third for the people that aren't corrupt, second behind their concern for other American Citizens..
I never knew anything about Rusty Bowers, but I am so proud of what he has said in this interview and his testimony. He appears to be a lot more honest than most politicians.
So here is a man who has completely different political stances from my own. Yet I can tell that he has the country's best interest at heart. We need more of this.

As Mr. Bowers did say he would vote for Trump were he the Republican nominee, we must now ask ourselves, what could possibly induce someone to vote a man into the highest office in the land who has no idea what courage is. Mr. Bowers’ admission seems quite contradictory, most especially for a man of some honor.
This interview made me smile, as a progressive it's rare that a Republican\Democrat lawmakers inspire hope. Rusty Bowers emulates the best of us. He could not be bought, negotiated with, or bullied. Politicians on both sides of the aisles need to take notice, that this is the way our political leaders should operate.

I think Rusty Bowers was surprised by the question by the Select Committee when he first responded that he would vote again for Trump. It sounds like what he really meant and wanted to say was that he would vote for a Republican again or the Republican Party. I can see how being in such a wild situation like interviewed by Congress on national TV could throw you off.

I watched this one on this week today and was cheering Rusty on! Rusty Bowers, Arizona House Speaker, is what all Americans should aspire to be like. He is a hero to me and I voted Democrat!
