Guess you forgot the part of Shokin's support of Firtash. Haha! Interestingly, Shokin - this paragon of anti-corruption - was found to have reassigned or outright fired numerous staff from another department who tried to prosecute Shokin's closest aides after they were discovered to have masses of diamonds, cash and various other valuables stashed in their homes. The amassed fortunes were believed to be gains from bribery and extortion schemes run by Shokin and his minions. And guess what? When Shokin put the skids to the investigations, all that moolah just disappeared, never to be found again.
