Which is why they tried so hard to get rid of him and everyone that attacked him and using the same lies over and over exposed themselves. Like that time trump drank that fiji water like a toddler for everyone to see and all the media and utter fools actually thought he drinks like that... lol trump really opened my eyes to how all the media either work together or repeat the same lies, and not because of what he himself said but by how i observed everyone reactinf to him when he acted like a fool in what I believe was a ploy. Art of war type shit.
Yep. Trumps always under tax audits. If he was doing something wrong with his taxes IRS would have corrected it. If tax laws allow it then whats the problem? Shame on you Trump for following tax laws!
@@kenny2006sp something average people wont understand, you know that employees and earned income has the highest taxrate right? Trump mainly uses depreciation to lower his taxes because of his hotels and properties.....
its easy to cloak yourselves with righteousness after trump and his supporters fought against the hypocrites and dirty bastards in government and took all of the propaganda beating because of it.
Truth be told I never watched any of these debates because it was such a toxic election campaign that I didn’t care. But yes when Chappelle brought this up on SNL (arguably his greatest set to date) I had to look it up. I don’t care for Trump but that line alone convinces me why people voted him in.
Yeah - because at the end of his ramble bramble HE started criticizing her record in public service saying she had done nothing and she addressed that first and would have probably gotten back to taxes but it’s a free flowing debate and when someone brings up multiple points you usually rebut the last one out of their mouth and the most inflammatory - that you didn’t accomplish anything.
@@maddymud if it takes you so long to refute an unrelated claim that you don’t even have time to make your own, then you’re either bad at debate or staling for time. She’s an experienced politician, if she didn’t know that throughout her years of experience then what exactly does that say about her skill set in general? From either points of view, this was logically not the best move on her part, and if you support her then no hate towards you, but still her style of response shown in this video was a mistake.
Chappelle brought me here and its crazy how true this is. Debates are such theater. They try to nail Trump on taxes and when he counters, instead of Hillary answering him about the tax code, she is allowed to deflect and talk about something else, while they kept trying to ask Trump about taxes. Here I am defending Trump and I am not even a fan of the guy. 🤣
Welcome to the club..there is always room for one more. What they are doing and have done to Trump and his family is criminal. Obama on down to Hillary should all be in prison for crimes against America. They, being lead mainly by Pelosi and Adam $hit, PURPOSELY put this country through hell for 5 years for lies that THEY themselves created. They all knew russia collusion was a lie (proven by Mueller and the FBI agents on the stand under oath in court) because they created it and STILL forced it on America. Its f**king shameful. They PURPOSELY fueled hate and division JUST because Trump beat Hillary in 2016 (even though she cheated). They gas lit America with the help of the MSM. You just witnessed just now..Anderson is a huge Trump hater and a Hillary supporter.
hahahha to be fair everyone the dnc gop establishment and their donors enjoyed the same legal loopholes that mr trump used. so its not like they got him because they all do it. hahahaha.
@@schlechtgut8349 a tax cut that brought company operations back into the usa and expanded the work force. it also gave workers money. the trump tax cuts put money into the hands of the consumers and not only that but they made a deal with corporate america that if they lower the tax code they must invest in the inner cities, job growth and wage increase. oppose to higher taxes and having jobs run from the usa to countries that have lower taxes under joe biden.
I find it funny how she says she couldn’t fix the tax code because there was a republican president, but then goes on to say she knows how to work well with republicans and people to get shit done 😂
She was Secretary of State during the first term of the Obama administration, the first half of which saw a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate and a majority that was almost immune to filibuster in the House. They had the people to literally ramrod through literally ANY legislation they wanted.......and spent that time on a completely broken jumbled mass of legislative dysentery we now know as "Obamacare." That failure to actually do anything was a significant part of the reason that the Tea Party, and later Trump, became a thing.
nah..the "Because you'd be in jail" line is the one that knocked her out and she NEVER recovered from. That was maybe the greatest presidential debate comeback ever.
@@chipsdad5861 actually he did. He said I'm the best with taxes. And in an interview with Hilary he said I do the same thing you guys do. 😉😉. "I know tax law, and it's very complex, but I know tax law like noone else, I'm the best, and you wanna know where I got it? People like Crooked Hilary who have spent their entire lives doing the same thing, except for they are life long politicians."
It's crazy to see how everyone was so against this man back then because of what the media was spreading. But yet never lied about the taxes and even told you it was because he knew the loopholes. The man has been saying the same exact things and has been very consistent since way back
People really don't look at the big picture this man had an entire Empire and pretty much threw it all away to try and save a country that did nothing but try to bring him down every minute of every day, if that don't speak volumes I want to know how many of you would do the same and even after dealing with all that for the first term have the sack to come back and endure it for a second time
@@scottpotter7786 the problem is that Trump didn’t understand how powerful the mainstream media is, and then proceeded to act like a complete clown at every other turn. Acting like a president is part of the job. You can’t just do a good job at policy and then think you win. That’s not how it works. Trump didn’t know how to shut his ego up, and then he wonder why everyone roasts him for having a whiny ass temper tantrum about the election.
Idk, a lot of names here really don't sound that English to me, and even ones which look English enough might not be Americans. You might forget that the US is the single biggest power in the world as of now (it's hard to judge how close China is to being an equal and if they're gonna overtake or if they'll get stunted in their growth, but they're definitely still somewhat below the US right now) so the rest of the world watches American politics to some degree as it'll influence them in many ways as well, but we obviously don't watch every debate, only some basics and what's pointed out to us. Luckily with China and Russia you don't need to watch that closely as it'll be headlines if there's any real chance of their leaders changing and their leaders have a clear course, not a false advertisement where you'll worry about which stuff they'll do to get some people to vote them again and which they'll avoid in whatever way possible (I'm really too disillusioned with democracy)
Naw it’s all a scam. No matter who wins the people will get screwed over anyways and the richest people in the world run America, not politicians. They don’t care who is in charge.
I know. I agree. It’s takes a Comedian to point people towards the debates of the leaders of their country. Everyone is clueless how corrupt politics and media are. Everyone is lost in the dark. America is all Marketing and secret interests
Lol ikr? When this happened it was actually pretty popular cause she got absolutely wrecked in this debate. Or also when they're supposed to say something nice to each other and trump manages while she fails. But all these voters are morons. That being said, I don't like any of these people. I want tulsi gabbard or something.
Well, as a billionaire, you either avoid the tax code with its many arcane loopholes, or you just let it screw you for way more of your income than it even remotely deserves.
Correct. Saying he "avoided paying federal taxes" is completely misleading. He simply took advantage of the tax code, as does every single American. It's insane that people buy these lies.
Depreciation on real estate is something even I do as an owner of a couple rentals. This isn't even a complicated 'tax loophole'. Every CPA will do this for you.
@@bluemystic7501 Me too. And I write off all expenses associated with my rental properties. I guess I am also "not paying my income taxes" by simply taking advantage of the tax code.
The reality is most people do not know anything about the tax code. It's totally normal to have a loss one year, and then carry it over for future years, where you have a gain. It may even completely offset the gain, thus reducing your tax owing to zero. So these supposed trap questions of, "did you not pay tax" are so silly. You pay the taxes you owe based on the rules - No more, No less.
The worst part is, politicians like Bernie Sanders understand this, but they love having the soundbite, "Amazon paid zero taxes last year!" Because they know the average voter will just be outraged. Nevermind how many billions in revenue were lost the previous year. Damn the corporations for being successful.
Liberals just vote based on what the liberal biased media tells them. Zero attempt at being actually well informed. And look what it’s given them. Sky high inflation, so now literally everything costs far more. Record high fuel prices. Record crime rates. Record high border illegal border crossings. Energy dependence on the most vile of countries. Idiots.
I saw this happen. It just felt like Bernie was supposed to win the primary. Her smile at 0:56 seems kinda smug too. Like she knows what he’s saying is true but awkwardly has to lie and divert attention to some random statistics.. She was a good speaker too, but Trump was a pure bully and unafraid of bringing up awkward truths.. Like in this clip he mentions Iraq and ISIS. Of course a republican president would’ve equally botched an Iraqi pull out and had the same political demands to do it. Damage was done just by mentioning it. (The avg listener doesn’t apply much logic)
You mean unconstitutional tax laws that were written after the US was incorporated by a foreign enemy out from under the people due to Lincoln's war debts after attacking his own country. There was no income tax until we got the Federal Reserve Act in 1913 which created a central bank, owned by private entities who are hostile to humanity. The Federal Reserve is not a part of our government... and most people don't know it. We were captured by International Bankers.
@@icarojose6316 I hate the way some people react to it. Its like comparing the pay of a McDonalds worker to a bank branch manager, and hating the branch manger because he was actually able to get the job because he researched and found a way to easily promote in his job.
It’s actually crazy how he just explained how he paid his taxes and the moderator just went right back to asking him if he actually paid taxes, like the narrative is just blindingly bias
Politicians in exchange for “donations” maintain the tax avoidance schemes for donors & grant them Govt contracts & legislation to directly benefit them !
This was his shining political moment imho, for two reasons. One obviously is the callout that Chapelle talked about. Two, I get a bit of a tax wonk vibe off him. Everything he says about depreciation or carried interest is fairly surface-level, but I'm a tax attorney myself and when you do this stuff you develop a sense of who is genuinely comfortable talking about Code and who isn't. And Trump, you can just kinda tell he knows a lot of this stuff. Not saying he can cite section and subsection to you or anything, but he clearly has read, learned, and used the parts that affect his business work. That was the first time I thought, this guy isn't just some rich asshole who has accountants handle everything, he actually knows WTF he's talking about.
Well he's been doing it since he was a young man. The current president has been in government his whole working life. Trump actually knows business and money because he actually does it.
I love how he calls her out on the taxes and how she didn’t do anything about it then she goes on a tangent about the things she did do that were basic responsibilities of a senator lmao
You just wondered at the end of her monologue why didn’t she do anything then. If you knew the responsibility of a senator why didn’t you achieve what you said you would?
I hope everyone knows Anderson Cooper also benefits through the loop holes the only ones that caint are us.only because we don't know how to use them because they don't tell us.
Tax planning isn't bad or immoral. Generally speaking, the objective of tax planning isn't to minimize taxes but rather to maximize a taxpayer's after-tax return. For example, if the federal income tax rate is a constant 30%, an investor shouldn't buy a tax-exempt bond yielding 5% when he could instead buy a corporate bond yielding 9% before tax and 6.3% afterward. He pays taxes and is simultaneously left with a higher return.
He lost the popular vote twice. Or were both elections “rigged” by a nameless, faceless group of conspirators without a shred of evidence to support that claim.
In every country around the world he would've lost. The US isn't a democracy because in democracy the popular vote always wins. He lost his second election by 7 million votes. That's more votes than some countries have people. He was asking for 11000 votes on his phone call which is a joke if you lost by 7 million votes. Do you know how crazy we think that is in Europe? My country the Netherlands only has 17 million people and he lost by 7 million votes.
Dave sent me here (although I do remember this exchange). I was disgusted when Trump won the GOP primary. However, these two debates convinced me to support him. So glad that I did.
I could have put them in a pocket of a bag or your book bag. There are a lot of options. I'm sure they will turn up. I just don't want to forget to take the time to find them. I remember taking them out of my ears and placing them somewhere "safe".
Trump was pacing because he has heard this Democrat rhetoric before and, in my opinion, found it increasingly annoying that she would take this same show from a smoked filled private venue to the national stage to secure a presidential seat for Hillary Clinton, that is complete and utter bulls**t.
Not often you allow someone as blunt and unpredictable as Trump on stage with someone as morally and literally corrupt as Hilary. They won't ever do it again.
