I'm not saying this won't happen, but the argument that Trump won't be punished falls flat for me. I can't imagine what the legal defense would be besides "Trump is literally the god emperor." If the government was just going to let this slide, I feel like they wouldn't indicte him, let alone *twice.* Let alone telling the press that he had the most confidential documents known to man by his potty.

Also the midterms are showing that the republican party is essentially in shambles on the national level. DeSantis has even worse odds than trump winning a national election but idk anything can happen i guess.
