I am an old man and any time I have been in court, it was depressing. Going to any court is the most depressing thing I have ever been through. I am well over 70 years old and I still have flashbacks to the first time I was in court as a college boy. First of all, the bailiffs are rude and browbeating. Then the prosecutor is overbearing and browbeating and mean and rude. Then the judge is a tyrant. And sometimes even the court reporter is arch and rude and loud-mouthed and mote magnifying and fault finding and bullying and nasty. That was just for overtime parking when I got there and had two minutes on the meter and the cop was already writing the ticket.
