They don't have an erase button. That said, the other side cannot make the objection that "that piece of evidence will make my case fall apart" and expect that to fly. That's just too bad. No, there has to be some reason for an objection. If that piece of evidence is not relevant, or just meant to emotionally charge someone without having any other substance, that would be an example of an objection. And, just because they object, that doesn't mean the introducer of the evidence just got squelched. They have the ability to argue as to why this piece should be admitted to evidence and exposed. The entire premise of this case is whether the 14th amendment is self executing in order for a Secretary of State to keep someone off who participated in an insurrection as they would keep someone off for not being 35. Both are in the Constitution and Republican Constitutional Scholars have confirmed Trump violated the Constitution and should not be allowed to be on the ballot.

The prosecutors didn’t like the question but had no grounds for an objection. Their mumbling about an objection actually interfered with her ability to hear the response from this coward witness. I think we didn’t hear, but prosecution was trying to say something. The Judge wasn’t encouraging an objection. I think she genuinely thought they were objecting.

The Judge even missed Swalwell’s answer, because prosecution started talking at the same time.

Actually the secretary's of state have the power to include and exclude candidates. It's in the constitution. No court required. Trump was convicted by both houses of congress of inciting an insurrection so it's been proven by the people's representatives.

Stupid enough to not want verification of one's identity. We have to take into account a certain political party and their assertions that thier voters are incapable of having a valid and verified state issued photo ID.

@@crystalkaiser1142 if I knew how to genuinely get people to see manipulative behaviours in others on scale I would. I’m attempting to write a book about abusive governments seen through the lens of a domestic abuse relationship behaviours. It’s echos the same behaviours. Control of money, movement, speech, threat of violence or violence, gaslighting, isolation… it’s pretty scary. Only issue is, in a DV relationship there are organisations which can be engaged. The problem is when the government does it there is no third party group that has power to affect change. It only comes from The People working together, which isn’t easy because of the DV behaviours.

Most people are not voting them in. They are placed there.
