"Liberals are for higher taxes, more regulation, and more top-down government" Well that's kinda true. I support higher taxes on the wealthy to pay for universal healthcare, more regulations to prevent things like bank fraud and putting workers in unsafe conditions, and a white house that is actually capable of and interested in governing the country.
Funny thing is, if you go the progressive route, there's some reduction in taxes, regulation, and big central government in some areas. Reducing military spending waste, ending the drug war, stopping corporate welfare, and the government keeping its nose out of who can or can't get married.
Add in a Congress that is willing to do the *checks and balances* on an executive branch that is destroying not only our country, our standing in the world, and actually the world itself and I think that covers it.
it's amazing how this crowd is just conditioned at the hearing of the word "socialist", apparently unaware that most developed nations have extensive health care systems that are based on socialist principles. It's fine though, you keep paying 600 USD to see a dentist ...
social medicine....aka universal health care....yes most civilized nations have it....dumb asses act like it would be a bad thing....they are like pavlov's dogs....conditioned to react to certain sounds rather than actually think.
Also failing to see that the system of police that (white) people have been using to try to get other (black) people killed wouldn't exist without socialist policies. Firefighters too. Medicare, Social Security, unemployment checks, and other safety net systems that I'm sure many RWNJs in these rallies rely on are also based in socialist policies.

I know I have no place in saying this, so save the hate. But the fact, that this guy can blatantly lie, and be utterly shameless about it being the president of USA, has become a 'norm', is extremely shameful. I CANNOT wait for the upcoming midterms.
I would be super fine without any tax cuts myself as long as the rich and businesses also had to pay too. And if our taxes actually helped with healthcare, education, and college tuition. I'm all for paying my taxes when it actually freaking helps my fellow citizens.
Megzzzx In 21st Century America that's crazy talk..All people and companies paying their fair share? The money used to support important basic services without regard to politics? Next you'll be saying that our laws should be crafted to protect all Americans, and not just the narrow interests of those with the power to enact those laws. They're gonna lock you up if you're not careful...
"I'm not calling Mr Desantis a racist. I'm simply saying the racists believe he's a racist" I don't usually quote people but that was simply outstanding.
Dear World, you have one job, Nuke Trump in his rallies. they are announced, they are planned, he always attends. you could take out a deplorable level of society as well as a threat to the civilized world. One Small Nuke. that's all.
@@RIXRADvidz that seems a little harsh as it would cause fallout on the rest of the city in which it was held. An air strike would be much more apropos I think.
Philip Leitch That is nonsense. As bad as Trump is- his supporters, and that’s 34% of all voters (!)- LIKE and support him STILL! it’s not bad luck, it’s their WILL. So no reason to feel pity: they have what they want.
Look at the suckers cheer. 2 years later tell them the same things and they don't even realize that he is pissing on their leg while telling them it's rain.
@Kurt Kinde that actually shows how broken US Democracy/Voters/Politicians are, that a President needs an executive order for something basic like health care! if you say health care should not be basic (haha, you have cancer and only earn 40k a year, you fked up, haha), than you perfectly fit into categories listed before!
"that actually shows how broken ..." Ilker 19: Yes, it does. I was never a fan of the conservative think-tank plan that is the ACA (aka Obamacare), but I think Obama actually though republicans would be on board with a plan that was basically Romneycare.
All the Republican candidates say they will make sure insurance companies have to cover preexisting conditions. That part's true. What they don't tell you is that insurance for people with preexisting conditions will cost 10 times more, just like it was before Obamacare.
anonagain Under Obama care insurance companies could not charge more for pre existing conditions. Trumps HHS dept just yesterday undid this unilaterally.
I really shouldn't gloat but, I can break my leg and show up at a hospital emergency, WITH NO IDENTIFICATION, and be admitted, examined, X-rayed, casted and sent on my way for $0. And no, I didn't wait for hours to be seen either. And I don't pay high taxes. And I can live quite comfortably with one job...🇨🇦
Say What you name it. Allowing coal companies to dump waste into rivers, trying to sneak his healthcare bill past the congressional budget office and then claiming their biased whenever they report how many people would be left without healthcare.
@Say What he is burning the environment protection regulations for instance, but you probably don't give a damn about it right now.. but just wait more time and see what you are going to get from nature onward...
Trump and the Republican Party are relying on the ignorance of the general population, and particularly the ignorance of their supporters. I was at a rally supporting universal healthcare and there were quite a few counter protesters. I approached one guy, who appeared to be over 65 and was carrying a sign reading "Government single payer healthcare will destroy America." So I asked him why he wanted to repeal Medicare. He literally could not understand me. I had to explain to him that the Medicare he was so glad to have was a government run, single payer healthcare plan. The expressions that went across his face as the cognitive dissonance propagated was amusing. I then asked why he was so opposed to everyone getting the same health care safety net that he had. He had no answer. And I am still not sure he learned anything.
They don’t want people below them on the socioeconomic ladder to have what they struggle for. So it’s locked in their brain that others are getting something they aren’t. Part of it anyway. That and since time began people fear change even though it’s always a net positive. Humans are stupid
One response is that they'll have to pay higher taxes. I ask them how much they pay for health care premiums, co-pays, deductibles, and prescriptions. How much would they pay if they lost their job? Apparently math is lost on those against socialized healthcare.
5:58 Are you kidding???? Set aside the fact that it's logistically impossible to put a 10% middle class tax cut in the next week he sounds like a guy doing an ad for a fire sale at a mattress store, while all the halfwits in the back are screaming "Wooo free money wooo". Who have you got lined up for us in 2020 Murica, Tyler Durden?

It's as if the entire Republican party heard those two phrases-"You can't argue with stupid," and "You can't argue with crazy."-and then decided the combination would be a winning strategy.
But they are, Jena. Many voters only pay attention during the last few days before the election, and the GOP simply starts bloviating for a week that they are in fact the anti-tariff, pro-healthcare party. Two far-right attacks in the last few days - but hey, it's a false flag, it's a conspiracy. They fall for it and they congratulate themselves on how smart they are for being wise to the "Demon-rat" tactics.
Why don't you talk about the facts in place of the lies. President trump created 4 million new jobs since his Election - 3.9 million people off food stamps - 400,000 new manufacturing jobs - US Unemployment claims at 45 year low - African American unemployment at lowest level in history - Hispanic American unemployment at lowest level in history - Women's unemployment lowest in 62 years - Reduced UN spending by 350 million dollars - Wages rising for the 1st time in 22 years - Protecting religious liberty - Standing up to social media censorship - Approval of “Right To Try” experimental drugs - President Trump approved choice for VA after decades of others trying - Accountability for VA workers after decades of others trying - Nazi dispatched back to Germany after decades of others trying - MS13 on the run - Optimism among American Manufacturers 95% - Republicans passed biggest tax cuts/reform in history - President Trump eliminated the Estate ("Death") Tax - President Trump substantially improved the Child Care Credit - 6 billion dollars set aside for opioid/drug abuse

No you're not "being nice" by denouncing terrorism, Donnie. It's literally the top priority in your job description. Go work at KFC if you can't handle this simple task.
@Mystery Man I am copying this off a quote from a movie .. "How would you define terrorism? The current definition is, “Any individual or group that uses violence to achieve political goal.” So now tell me, who're terrorists? Politicians who provoke people into violence? People who're walking into schools, bars, public places and killing innocents? Cops? Black People? Mexicans? Shady agencies? .. Tell me who're denouncing it? The fact is the whole world is like a conglomerate. There is no head to cut off. If one of them betrays the principles of the accrual of money and power, the others betray him. What it is is human weakness. You can't kill that with a gun. Hidden within the unconscious lies an insatiable desire for conflict. So you're not fighting yourself, at all, as much as you're fighting the human condition. " Now ask yourself, do you support terrorists? If so, which one?
Trump is repulsive. People that support him are drinking kookaid and it is difficult to live in a red state. Trump supporters are crazy, they are missing what Republicans are doing to this country.
Yeah and these tax cuts don't either. They overwhelmingly still go to the 1% and then they're going to cut Medicaid, Social Security, Medicare and social benefits to make up the difference so it will be like the middle income families break even in the end.
all of them are shallow entertainment to a greater or lesser degree... they're just in it to make ratings cash off of Trump. The only late-night show that criticizes Trump in a legitimate & serious way is Bill Maher.
Trump supporter logic: "maybe we shouldn't have any laws, because criminals aren't going to follow them anyway"... I'd be honored if some fellow concerned citizens would check out my acoustic piano & vocal covers of 80s/90s classic songs on my channel. Covers include Prince, George Michael, Radiohead, Tom Petty, James Taylor, the GooGoo Dolls, Sarah McClachlan, Billy Joel, Earth Wind & Fire, plus a couple of '010s classics from Bruno Mars and Coldplay. jim jon - Apparently you can fool CNN too because even they have been forced to admit Trump is getting results. How's that Russia sandcastle holding up btw? You NPCs don't seem to want to talk about it anymore.
Australia has universal health care. In a press interview with the Australian Prime Minister and that he thought they had the best health care system in the world better than America.
Republicans hate hollywood so much that they can't tell the difference between good acting and bad acting. It's why the base keeps falling for the same lies over and over.
He isn't a billionaire. He's never been a billionaire. Every claim he's ever made about his wealth has been a bald-faced lie. He didn't even own the Trump Organization until his father died in 1999, but he was claiming he owned it since the early 1980s. He's nothing but a money-laundry for international mobsters.
I really struggle to understand why the USA has such a backdated, crazy financial focused health system. Why not follow successful countries where healthcare is covered publicly to great effect. i.e United Kingdom. Switzerland. Sweden. Australia. Germany. Netherlands. New Zealand. Norway.
Does Trump's lying seem weird to anyone else? Yeah, sure, I expect him to lie. But it's the recent frequency and grandness of the lies that concerns me. It's like he's not lying to impress, but that he's lying out of desperation or as if he's straight up confused about what's going on. Also, come on, "socialist takeover?" What, are we living in 2011?
So in pointing out that he's being nice for a change, he's tacitly admitting that his previous hate-filled rhetoric is responsible to some degree for creating a climate in which the pipe bomb attacks seemed like a good idea to someone? PS Trump supporters - sorry about the fancy words.
The Maltese Bogart It’s called making logical connections sweetie, nothing to do with mind reading (Trump’s brain would be an unreadable mishmash of nonsense anyway).
Honestly, at this point, all they need to do is change the Obamacare name for Trumpcare and make it worst. The wealthy will save more money and all the Trump supporters are going to be cheering for that wonderful new healthcare that is so much better than Obamacare was. I wish I was being sarcastic...
If the healthcare system of your country is based on insurance and includes preexisting conditions why would anyone get insurance before they fall ill?
I do not understand how he even dares to say all the hate, anger and racism suddenly being openly displayed by a bunch of americans is the medias fault. First of all he gives plenty of material to media to talk about, and second and most obvious he does not behave like a leader, or let me rephrase that, like a good leader, because Hitler was a leader but we all know where his ideals, influence and manipulation led to, not only a country but the whole world. I do not like to talk about politics but it is scary the monster he has awaken, every person is, of course, responsible of their own behaviour but when one is carrying the torch for a whole country is your responsabilty to guarantee the rights and well- being of every single one, not only to the one who think like you. You can't just wipe out whatever you don't like or don't agree with you. He is not Thanos, and people, ain't avengers or captain marvel to turn back on time and save us. Why do you choose leaders like this. This is real life. Will humanity ever learn about their mistakes?
@Michael Anderson I assure you this lunatic is smarter than he looks and is playing you if your thinking everything is chiil enough to have that mindset. If it werent for people being upset like myself, nothing would get done in the current political climate. There would be no sense of urgency to bring all the drastic changes he has tried to implement to a halt. Hitler started by discrediting the media because that way people had not idea what was really going on and had no trust in the facts. You dont need to be as persuasive as Adolf when you have the internet with social media geographic and demographic manipulation.
Donnie is totally hoping the Great Pumpkin will deliver this magic tax cut because he was being so nice earlier, remember? Good boys and girls get presents....
Trump treated that reporter like mom's treat kids begging for toys in Walmart...I said I'll buy it for you later. But that was two hours ago, when is later over? In a few minutes. You'll buy me that toy in a few minutes? Yes, when we get home. But the toy is here. How can you buy it when we get home? I'll do it as soon as we leave...
