I remember in the early 2000s when Skype was a thing we would randomly call people (with my mom present of course😂). One time we called someone in Australia and even as an 11 year old I could tell he was not too amused to hear 3 kids and a mom ask him random questions like “what time is it?” “What’s the temp”. When he said “32°” my mom commented, “oh that’s kind of cold”…he did not correct her😂 After the call she remembered they used Celsius. There was something so exciting about it. I also chatted with someone from Canada and I couldn’t keep a conversation going because I couldn’t type (the Lord truly protected me!) But I agree, now I’d be mortified to make cold calls like that. We were so naive
I agree with Katie about breastfeeding. Doing that definitely makes it hard to hangout for a long time and pumping IS a whole ordeal. It's almost easier to just bring the baby with you.
Definitely triggered by the Ashley Madison convo because had one cousin whose husband was on that site and then had another cousin whose husband was talking to girls on Instagram. Both claimed since they never actually slept with them (though they did have meet ups) it wasn’t cheating. Thankfully, they both had the strength to divorce them because clearly you don’t love your wife if you are chatting with or looking at other girls. 🤦🏻♀️ It’s like Jesus knew men would do this, Matthew 5:27-20. I did apprecite the gang’s perspective on it and especially that Jake called that guy a scumbag. 😊
