@@SA-zf9dsNah. Kimmel definitely has an agenda but, if that’s your sorta thing he’s okay at what he does. Fallon simply isn’t talented as a talk show host. His humor is too cringe and he has no interviewing skills. I don’t really watch much late night TV in general… I loathe partisan American politics- left or right- and so I’m not Kimmel or Colbert’s target audience, even though I think they are both talented individuals. I would watch the Tonight Show if Fallon weren’t so insufferable. Now, I’d watch any late night show Dana Carvey hosted!

Carvey does the same bits/impressions all the time. He's funny, no doubt, but enough to sustain a talk show 5 nights a week for years and years? He's 67, no spring chicken, doing a daily show is a huge grind and better suited to younger people. I doubt he would want all the work and hassle that comes with a talk show at this stage of his life. He doesn't need to work.
