Trump Wants To Send “Kill Squads” To Kill Cartel Leaders.
If you’ve been following us here on this channel, then you know that Mexico has long been plagued by the brutal ongoing conflict between its government and the many drug cartels that have been operating on its territory, oftentimes virtually unbothered.
But one man's audacious plan threatens to change the game forever. Imagine this: a covert operation, elite US special forces, and a mission to take down the most powerful drug lords across the border.
And this isn’t a scene from a Hollywood blockbuster-this is the controversial proposal put forth by none other than US former President, Donald Trump.
But what drives such a drastic measure? And how could these cartels carry on their operations, virtually unbothered, bringing about chaos on both sides of the US-Mexico border? From the indiscriminate violence that leaves communities in terror to the intricate networks of corruption that shield these organizations, let’s do a deep dive into the heart of this issue.
Brace yourself for an eye-opening journey as we explore the dangerous world of Mexican drug cartels and the desperate strategies to dismantle their reign of terror. Welcome to the frontline of a modern-day war - this is a story you won’t want to miss.

@@missourimongoose8858would take longer then a week. If we could use the full force of our military then it wouldn’t last long. But we would not be aloud to do that since cartels are primarily located around innocent civilians. Also odds are cartels would possibly unite which then would make it harder. I don’t see it being hard for America stopping them but first we’d have to figure out how to stop them trying stuff in the US. Just like the mafia. All big organizations will eventually fall and the cartels are no different. Mafia fell due to the capture of the bosses. Though I don’t see the cartels falling anytime soon it may happen one day.

Those were criminal gangs that despite having a large number of members were largely poor and poorly armed. The Mexican drug cartels on the other hands are multi billion dollar criminal empires armed better than many milities. You're comparing apples to oranges. I don't understand how you gringos can pretend to be so against drugs and the drug cartels despite being their best consumers? In every town in the area where I reside, most of the drug-addicts are gringos themselves. You'll get a black or hispanic druggy here and there, but a disproportionately large percentage of them are white. Also, if the Mexican drug cartels are generating billions of dollars annually in revenue it's obviously because there are a lot of tweakers in this nation that consume those drugs. So which one is it? Do you gringos want drugs in this country or not?

The Mexican government's military approach to dealing with drug cartels has had complex and often counterproductive effects. Since the early 2000s, and especially during the presidency of Felipe Calderón (2006-2012), the Mexican government deployed tens of thousands of military troops to combat drug cartels. Calderón's administration declared a "war on drugs" shortly after he took office, marking a significant escalation in military involvement. The strategy involved targeting high-profile cartel leaders (a tactic known as the "kingpin strategy"), with the aim of decapitating the leadership of these organizations to dismantle them. Alongside the military, the federal police force was also strengthened and used in operations against cartels. The removal of top cartel leaders often led to the fragmentation of these organizations. Instead of collapsing, many cartels splintered into smaller, more violent groups that competed with each other, leading to increased violence. The power vacuums created by the arrests or deaths of cartel leaders resulted in violent turf wars as rival factions and new groups fought for control over lucrative trafficking routes and territories. The overall level of violence and homicides in Mexico rose sharply. The years following the escalation saw a dramatic increase in murder rates, with 2011 being one of the deadliest years. The military approach often led to significant collateral damage, including civilian casualties. There were numerous reports of human rights abuses committed by both military forces and cartels, such as extrajudicial killings, disappearances, and torture. The extensive use of the military for public security tasks blurred the lines between military and police roles, leading to criticisms that the government was militarizing law enforcement. This shift sometimes undermined local police forces, which were often under-resourced and corrupt. The military strategy has faced sustainability issues, as relying heavily on the armed forces for law enforcement is not a long-term solution. The continuous presence of military forces in drug-trafficking regions has not led to a lasting reduction in cartel influence. Cartels have adapted their strategies in response to military pressure. They diversified their criminal activities beyond drug trafficking, including extortion, kidnapping, and human trafficking, making them more resilient and harder to combat. The prolonged violence and insecurity have severely impacted local communities, leading to displacement and widespread fear among the population. In recent years, there has been some shift in strategy, with more focus on social and economic programs aimed at addressing the root causes of crime. However, the presence of the military in anti-cartel operations remains significant under President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who launched the National Guard, a new security force with both military and police components. In summary, while the Mexican government's military approach aimed to weaken cartels by targeting their leadership and using force, it often resulted in increased violence, cartel fragmentation, and significant collateral damage, making the overall security situation worse in many respects.

I agree 1 million%! The heck with all the red tape. They killing our children hand over fist daily. Adults too. A little back story. I lost my middle son in June of 2020. So I've already lost one child. Not to drugs though. Nonetheless I've buried a child. I still have two more sons. Who are trying to deal with and understand why their brother isn't here. They all 3 were close. With that being said about 2 years ago I had to watch EMTs bring my oldest sons lifeless body out of a house because he had taken a pill he believed was a Percocet but it wasn't. It was fentanyl. So if your on the fence about this idea Trump has don't be be believe me you never ever want to see your childs dead body ever. My oldest son only by the grace of God lived. He does have physical pain from being in the Army and serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Not that that would have made it any easier to have to bury him too. These call these killers south of the border have got to be STOP at any cost. Because you never know you, any one of you could have to gaze upon your childs dead body and you might not be as lucky as I was. By then you want be able to change your opinion and it protect your child. I beg y'all back Tump on this it will keep burying our children and loved ones at a very very very alarming rate. Believe me you do not want to watch as your baby is put in the ground. Please give our children a fighting chance. God bless us all and God bless America. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 TRUMP 2024🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Mexico is one of the largest trading partners of the US. A lot of manufacturing activities are being relocated to Mexico. Mexico is one of the most important countries to the global economy. That is why the Peso is going up in value. They are the 12th largest economy in the world by GDP and their economy is continuing to grow. Any war in Mexico could disrupt global economic activities. Why should we worsen global economic conditions and turn a neighboring country into a warzone, all because Americans are voluntarily using drugs and dealing with the consequences of their actions? We haven't learned any lesson from the wars in the Middle East. People are naive enough to believe that the US military could get rid of the cartels even though they failed to get rid of Islamic terrorists after 20 years of war. A war in Mexico would be a lot worse than the war in Iraq because at least Iraq is not a neighboring country and Iraq also didn't play a very important role to the global economy except for oil prices. Mexico is much more important to the world right now than Iraq was 21 years ago before the US invaded. Let's face it, the war on drugs is a failure just like the war on terror. The US government would take extreme measures to get rid of the cartels, but they would never legalize all drugs even though it would be a more simple solution to the problem without putting too much at stake.
