I think that he might not meet the requirements. If he had to drive the van he would need to pass the exams and do the tests. I bet he hasn't driven for years. I very much doubt that he has a valid licence...if he ever had one at all.

Trump will likely take NC and has no shot in Virginia. Saying Trump can win VA is like saying Harris can win Texas. Both states have similar safe margins.
No, none of this will move the dial in any way. The reason for that is the amount of early and mail-in voting, which means that over half of the people have already voted. We won't know until Tuesday, but the die is cast. And Americans virtually never vote for politicians who want to raise their taxes. Taxes are the third rail of American politics, and a pol who tries to raise them does so at their peril. And $1.5 billion may seem like an enormous amount of money to the Brits, it's not that much to Americans. America has become much much wealthier over the past 25 years. A billion isn't that much money any more.
Yes, elections here are out of control. And it started absurdly early here--2 years ahead--because Trump wanted to head off indictments by crying "election interference". I can only dream of a presidential campaign that lasts only a few weeks and doesn't involve all this money and nauseating advertising.
