Stately played, with tempered exhuberance. I love watching these two young fellows together in their symbiotic grace, one complimenting the other. Of course Clarke would be proud.

Some day you'll have the right organ to play this on. Be patient. It's great you get to play all these old antiques. You're listening. Your training is… really for the best. But you probably won't appreciate it for another 20 years. But… go for it Gert… and company. Do your best. The Joy is there and so are most of the right notes. Sent with love. CVD.

Staying to strict rhythm and tempo as this Marche Voluntaire demands, Gert uses his virtuosity with registration to add his masterful touch to the interpretation of this familiar and much loved piece. He again proves that one can have the red blood of heat and passion without sounding like a robotic metronome. Gert's talent continues to blow me away.

Thanks for this interesting upload. Is this a Gert arrangement, I wonder? The harmonizations are not quite what I am used to - rather more 'romantic' than baroque and none the worse for that.
