hmmm... that oily stuff they use as a thinner is useless as a medium for painting. I have used this method since 20 years ... and this was a tip passed to me by very experienced modelers back when everyone was using humbrol paints for not only weathering but also airbrushing and hand painting models. for unknown reasons... humbrol enamel thinners sold in the bottle are still really good out of the bottle! maybe the new enamels are better now? I still have tins with the old formula (and rich aroma) that are over 15 years old !
Amazing, absolutely amazing, however, do you know if you can make home brew washes with acrylic paints, and can you fix pigments with acrylic thinner? Thanks bro, thi will really help with my Syrian T-72. From a mate downunder !
