Fished the whopper plopper a little first and then tried to really see how the duck lure would get fish, and it did great. Filmed on 8/28/22 and 8/29/22.
I really like the both of them even though the duck lure isn’t quite a topwater. I feel like they’re a great size for fishing creeks and can definitely catch good numbers of fish, maybe more on the average size since it’s not a big lure but still a ton of fun
Ah, I know what you mean. I can sometimes get a buzzbait to work or weedless/texas rigged stuff to work but if it’s something like heavy algae then I never get anything besides a frog to work
I’ve loved both of the two lures, the duck and small whopper plopper. Both can sometimes catch me a surprisingly nice sized bass for lures that are small to medium size
The gear is fine and you can’t even formulate your thought, I’m sure I caught bigger than 1 pound bass too. That’s like 11-13 inches to be 1 pound smallmouth or largemouth 😂
After further review there was 2 smallmouth and one hooked and lost pickerel that are in obviously over 1 pound. Complaining about using a net doesn’t even need argued for any fishing, much less trebles and chain pickerel 😂
It’s bad when the commenter “huckfin1100” below is commenting like a child so bad it’s immediate lies and attempt at an argument and their next message is immediately removed by RU-vid because it’s so bad. No matter what you do people will try and bother you for no logical reason.
Use your net don't want to fall in the water. So I got these same lures and thought they were topwater baits but looks like they are swimming right under the surface?
Yeah the duck lures are shallow diving but the whopper ploppers are topwater. Not understanding your first sentence, it’s no worries if I fall in so long as I don’t hurt myself or the fish
