Hi Kevin, try getting your grandfather, grandmother or granduncles or aunties to apply for Trust bank credit card, see if they can get the approval. Benefits are only for a minor hand full of IT savvy GEN X.

you won't believe this, I live in the US and my mom is having so many issues with this card in Singapore...it is not working for my mom in NTUC and no one there can help her, my mom has acrivated the card, she has rhe silver card and when she calla the customer service there are only auto replies. And since I don't live in Singapore I have no idea about thia card and had to search online for reviews on this card. My mom however did get the card for some of the reasons you have pointed out, for instance no foreign transaction fees, but really she got it for to use in NTUC; she has now decided to cancel the card.

Tried to call Trust bank on telephone. Was put on hold for 20mins and so I cut the call. So much for service. To put money in to the account is easy and done via Singpass. To withdraw one has to go to specified ATMs which is inconvenient. One cannot do an internet withdrawal or cheque transfer to your DBS or other accounts. The trust card too has too many restrictions. For these reasons, Trust bank is not for me. Thanks for your excellent review.

I would never put money in an "online" bank no matter who the investors are...Of course unless got sign up promo. It's like those random banks in china which just "invest" your money and run away with them. Interest wise... throw money in the SSB much better than putting in any saving account so this online bank is not attractive in any way. I'd just go for DBS since ah gong will not let it bankrupt.
