The Williams potential transfer excites me, he's been one of the starts of Euro 2024 so far and clearly has pace and talent. Also with Mudryk being useless for the last 18 months Williams could own that position and cement it. The Calafiori interest is welcome aswell he appears to be a big upgrade on the likes of Badiashile and Disasi, if we can get him in and move at least one of those 2 on that would be a step in the right direction defensively.

That’s one way to look at the Olise situation if we sign Williams on big wages. However, it can also be an indication that we aren’t willing to spend big wages for a player in a position where we already have Palmer and Madueke who can play there. Maybe for lower wages we wouldn’t mind moving Palmer into midfield for Olise, and not signing KDH. But if the wages are higher the club prefers to sign a KDH for much less on much lower wages and let Palmer and Madueke compete on the wing - Palmer playing in midfield when necessary (i.e. moving inside when KDH is subbed off, or when Maresca wants a slightly different profile to start in that position).

Olise is not worth more the 200k. He has never put a full season together. When city building there team they didn't put any of them on 200k. They got paid once they proved it

As for Man City comment, it's a big lie, they gave big contracts to De Bryne, Sterling and others, considering the value as at the year they joined, it would have been even more in today's economy, DeBryune was on 180k-200, same with Sterling, Aguerro was on 250k, I agree with Oliseh comment but you don't need to flaw it by bringing Man City up because they paid the big bag.

Gallagher is demanding 180k-200k the same with Ceicedo and Enzo. Yes while I understand he has performed, we simply cannot give him that, Caicedo and Enzo earn such because of the fee they cost, you don't sign a player 100m+ and pay him peanuts, and at the same time we are not about to give everyone 200k because they requested for it. He has been replaced with KDH already. Good luck to him.

Yes it’s happened before where a new manager comes in and the team starts flying, but if you want consistent top level performances, it’s going to take time. Maresca is a new coach and it will take time to implement his play style. If you actually expect to hit the ground running and are going to be calling for him to be sacked the first sign of adversity, then you’re part of the problem. You’re the reason we’re not progressing. You have unrealistic expectations that no coach is going to meet except for Pep Guardiola. Well news flash, Pep is at city. NiiNii with all due respect, give it a rest on this Olise issue, bro. Please! He was always going to be a position of luxury not one of need. He's not an instant upgrade over Palmer and he's not guaranteed to stay healthy for a full season. We would also have had issues trying to fit Palmer, Olise, Nkunku, Jackson, Enzo, Caicedo, and Noni. Then you consider Gallagher, Carney, Santos and the kids... Estavo and Paez (I know they come in 2025). It would have been crowded on the right and in midfield with everyone demanding game time. You've been complaining about this for three videos or more, my guy. Trust that your team admin (the owners and SDs) have the best interest for the club. It's always a 2-way street in football transfers. For me, Olise isn't generational enough of a talent to break our wage structure and cause financial problems in the future. Think about it objectively... Chelsea were willing to meet the increased (and expensive) release clause for Michael from last year and made the effort to discuss terms; we wanted him on the team, but we have to run our business in the way that suits us as a club. He cannot walk in and be paid way more than everyone else when he has not earned that right. He wasn't being offered a salary lower than what he was making at Palace, and we know he agreed terms with us last year so why the shift from him this year? If Olise really wanted to come play for us, HE would have made it happen just like Caicedo did! That dude is a Chelsea legend in my book! He rejected Liverpool, a chance to play with Klopp, a guaranteed UCL spot, and a higher salary; all so he could wear the blue shirt. Olise could have done that. With Nico Williams, I love his play, but still think we should sell Sterling or loan Mudryk before attempting this or it would be a waste/a surplus. NW's an instant upgrade on the left at a position of need, but he too must WANT to come here and respect our vision. Otherwise, rotate Jackson, Sterling/Mudryk and KDH on the left and rotate Giuiu with Nkunku and Jackson up top. We will still be fine.
