Been a heavy music fan for over 40 years. This is live metal at it's very technical best. Almost perfect timing and tonal accuracy. The solo is as perfect as it gets...well done boys/men/maestro's
"Trust" Lost in a dream Nothing is what it seems Searching my head For the words that you said Tears filled my eyes As we said our last goodbyes This sad scene replays Of you walking away My body aches from mistakes Betrayed by lust We lied to each other so much That in nothing we trust Time and again, She repeats let's be friends I smile and say yes Another truth bends, I must confess I try to let go, but I know We'll never end 'til we're dust We lied to each other again But I wish I could trust My body aches from mistakes Betrayed by lust We lied to each other so much That in nothing we trust God help me please, on my knees Betrayed by lust We lied to each other so much That in nothing we trust How could this be happening to me I'm lying when I say "Trust me" I can't believe this is true Trust hurts Why does trust equal suffering Absolutely nothing we trust
Watch his lips during the second verse. What we’re listening to here is not his live vocals. Vocals have been dubbed over. The dude had serious surgery with a metal rod in his neck so I don’t blame him but you’re not hearing a live vocal here.
Even though the Chris Broderick era wasn't the best in terms of songwritings and stuff, live though they how they recreated s*** was f****** superb, f****** Chris knew how to recreate solos and do some of the studio backing vocals that just sign f****** legit
Just great heavy rock performance. Great guitar, great drum, great lyrics, great song. That's it! I love Megadeth since a long time now! I hope to see you guys in Montreal soon!
Thats because its overdubed Edit: they played live but dubed it for the dvd. And fun fact, the same dubed vocals were used in another DVD that came out in 2007
Lloro de solo escuchar esta pieza me recuerda el concierto en CR brincamos como locos y disfrutamos hasta morir con mi hermano fue lo maximo la mejor epoca y recuerdos.... metal de corazon y alma.
Listened to Cryptic Writings cd constantly at work when it first came out. Seen that tour too. Great album. I've seen them live six times. No doubt Mustaine is a guitar icon.
I’ve never been disappointed by the band, not once since I started listening to them in ‘87. I remember like it was yesterday that I accidentally left my brand new Peace Sells cassette by the hotel pool in Texas realizing it when I went to play it for the millionth time on my Walkman. If I had more pull at 9 years old we would’ve have turned back dammit. Long live the band, and always wake up dead.
What the hell is wrong on this planet! Just only 10k views for now on this song.. Nyway megadeth will remain forever as one of the gods of oldschool thrash metal band'..
Saw Megadeath somewhere around 04’-05’ maybe earlier at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, they actually opened for Tool and at the time Megadeath stole the show. Tool was great but Megadeath were amazing. I swear I saw the stucco chipping off the walls of the place, thought it would collapse. Was freaking awesome and one of the best concerts of 100’s I attended. Very memorable event. Thanks For the memories Dave and crew.✌️
