I bought this CD at either the end of 2001 or early 2002. I don't recall any other album by these guys, but i loved the heck out of this CD when it came out. If you want another recommendation similar to these guys (really good album and then disappeared) check out Hail the Villain. They came out about 10 years later than Trust Company, and the music style indicates that, but the way they got hot in rock and disappeared is eerily similar.
Trust company, seether, chevelle, revis, breaking benjamis, smile empty soul, and many more good under rated bands from that era i still listen to today. Many of these badass bands dissapeared before they even had a chance.
I want Kevin Palmer on a new Linkin Park album, if anyone can pull off leaving off where Chester did, he can do it. But I doubt with contracts, politics, and all the paperwork of the music industry it will never happen. A man can imagine though haha
Duuude, you and I both! I miss my era.. these guys were special though.. they were nu metal genre but they broke the shattered mould into something way cooler!
@@Saintsflow9 i think linkin park was more popular at the time well thats what i think i'm 16 so you know i'm a little too young too know corrrect me if i'm wrong
I remember these songs from. Back in the day but over time I lost them.. I just rediscovered them in 2023 at 35 and they still rock most bands out of the park. Much love
This band is criminally underrated. It's unfair how some of their contemporaries made it big while they were left behind. I suppose they were victims of their time, since So many other bands came out at the beginning of the 00's
@@Shifty51991 "Bombshell" was used as a theme for the Dudley Boyz in 2004. Also, in the first SVR game, their songs "Riot Time", "The Way It Is" and "When Worlds Collide" were on the game's soundtrack
Same here,, I went out the next day and bought there album! They got such a good reception from the crowd, compared to puddle of mudd, they walked off lol
Maaaaan, saw them at Warped tour 2001. Had no idea who they were but I heard downfall and was hooked. Really blew me away live. Still have the album and poster signed🤘🔥🤘 good times!!
man i miss the Nu-Metal/Post-Hardcore/Post grunge days. this genre needs to come back seriously. these guys showed it was cool to rock without all them stupid curse words that ruin a song totally. i mean seriously who wants to hear an f bomb dropped every few seconds? (cough cough disturbed cough cough) lol i mean seriously you can still rock with clean lyrics.
There is nothing wrong with cussing, in songs. I don't understand why so many people have a problem with it. Sevendust is a perfect example to show that sometimes it gets the point across, a hell of a lot, better than not cussing, at all. I know I feel, a lot, better when I say fuck when something happens rather than saying crap. You're an adult; not an 8 year old, kid.
Lord Tepes but for me as a Christian its wrong. you dont need to curse to get your point across a lot of Christian Rock and Metal bands like RED and Demon Hunter are the perfect example of it.
But that's the difference between Christian rock and normal metal/rock. You're trying to compare to different genres of music. And if you want to get down to cuss/curse words then fuck is not a word against the Bible's views. If you're so headstrong with the Bible's beliefs do you follow everything it tells you? You can't pick and choose.
Lord Tepes how am i picking and choosing? i follow what the bible says. anyways im not trying to start a debate you believe what you believe and i believe what i believe. actually there isnt much difference between Christain rock/metal and regular. the only difference is it has no curse words, and doesnt talk about drugs or the gf you broke up with. i know the difference because i grew up with bands like disturbed, LP, hoobastank etc.. there are very few bands that are secular and do not curse. anyways like i said just different beliefs.
Anthony Jimison i agree with you man, even the radios are still playing rock from the 90s and 2000's. i also grew up with this music and it didnt teach me to swear or hate people, it only showed me that i can just sit down listen and relax. unfortunately, music like this is gone because the new modern era is only focus on other more influential music.
Say a prayer for me, 'cause I can barely breathe I'm suffering, and I can't take it Because of me, no one will ever see this side of me If I don't make it It’s like I can't wake up, it’s like I can’t get up It’s like I can’t remember who I used to be Am I running from you or am I running from me? They got lost in the Limp Biscuit, Puddle of Mudd, Hoobastank shuffle. Prob have too much respect for themselves to act stupid as hell for attention's sake. Damn shame, they are the most underrated band of that era that I'm aware of anyway. Still one of my go to's, from beginning to end, the entire album is exactly what I need ♡
The World has been different ever since everything has went Downhill since 2011 and now it's almost 2025 (We're Close to Mid Year) and everything Changed since then for the Past 13 (Almost 14) Years now
the thing i love about this band is that it has a very unique sound. He may may not technically sing but he sounds exactly like this live and i give him props for that, he's better than most.
@@joshmoates9730 I love your band. The Lonely Position of Neutral is one of my all time favourite albums. Please do make more music... I'll listen to it! Might as well ask, what is your favourite Trust Co. song?

This was the very 1st song I heard from them.... and I fell for it Mind/body/heart/soul for it. It represents so much of me. Then eventually, Years later, I saw them in a live performance...I'm not gonna tell the story of How I got to meet this band, and how they signed a poster/shirt/hoodie etc....but I felt as Giddy as a girl at a Justin Bieber Concert (LoL). I am a true die hard fan of this band,...from years ago until now,and most certainly into the Future. Trust Company Forever. (My personal theme song would be, "Drop to Zero"...a song They personally peformed just for me)!!!! >_
I think rock music really needs to make a fucking comeback these guys, crossfade, 12 Stones, so many others that still release music and it's like everyone who jammed this when they were younger either gave up or just didn't spread it enough to have the next generation enjoy it. So god damn irritating
I bought this cd in November after 911 for a job that requires flying never been on a plane b4 on Sony disk man it help me big time the whole disc is the shit
When music channels used to be decent...now only hoes, no bros and money, golden chains, mansions, sex, drugs...and they say that rock promotes violence and drugs...suuuuuuure
I heard some stuff from these guys way back. The last song around 2006. I remember them being better than they got credit for, especially better than most of the bands that came out around that time. Couldn't for the life of me tremendously who these guys were. For over a year now I've been trying to remember. I looked all over spotify thru the playlists of associated bands. I checked the list on Wikipedia. TrustCompany was nowhere to be found. I finally remembered some lyrics today and found this video. 😅😅
Twenty years later and still is one of my favourite songs. I may have gone to a heavier route with my musical taste but I still appreciate how damn fine this song is. And the guitar riff in the chorus is amazingly written.
I became clear that to be successful you need more luck then Talent.Trust Co is best Alt Rock band in Market. But they never Got perfect push to be large. God Bless them.
Years later this band is still great , it hurts they still go virtually unnoticed in comparison to something mainstream . Great balance of singing ,screaming with emotion , dancing around with energy backed by actual lyrics .
It’s a shame that this band didn’t hit bigger than they did. “Downfall” was a great song but they had so many other equally good tunes, that including this one
