Avantika if you are under 18 & you are suffering from hair loss, then it is not necessary you will require PRP or Minoxidil, we just need to examine your scalp. And then only we can comment. PRP session vary from individual to individual, no. of sessions can be between 4 to 6 sessions.

Respected sir, will it work for chronic telogen effluvium . I'm having cte from 3 years as I took isoretinion for 3 months in 2015. I tried minoxidil for 4 months but as soon as I stopped I started losing again. Despite 3 years of hair shedding my head is still full of hairs. Only colour and texture has changed. Also how many sessions will it require.

Hi Doc, I have performed 2 sessions of hair transplant the first one was in 2011 and the second in 2016. I have undergone 2 sittings of prp treatment after first sitting, I have experienced Normal hairfall but after second sitting suddenly I am observing serious hairfall which is very concerning for me.whether it is normal to have such hair shedding after prp treatment especially considering the fact that I have experienced normal hairfall after first sitting that too stopped to a great extent after 15 days of first sitting. (Not taking minoxidil or finasteride )

Hi Sir, I’ve been watching your videos. I did prp last year. The dermatologist took my blood, but after centrifuge there was no distinct golden colour, the colour was a bit pinkish red. The doctor said this is due to my being anemic (which i told her). She did the procedure anyway. I have been having long term headaches since then which has been going on since a year. It’s a continuous pain. I later studied more about it and came to know the prp should not be done if you are anemic. And also that the headache can be a side effect of using anemic blood. I don’t know what to do. Please suggest.
