Poem Title: Through The Eyes Of God I thought I found myself, Turns out I wasn’t for me to find, I entertained a counterfeit version of me of who God never Proclaimed me to be I saw things in me that wasn’t for me to see -but for him to see, and declare over me Like Faith the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. So I had to do away with my pride and admit that I saw with my own eyes instead of through the eyes of God, Truth is without him we are all blind. Blind to who we are, Blind to who should be near and to who should be far Blind to the reason behind of all of our scars, And there are many When Jesus came to this earth he said I dont boast in me but the one who sent me. Although he too had scars and there were plenty. He never lost hope in God. Because he saw who he was not through his own eyes but through the eyes of God. Things we see with our physical eyes can change Like a tree who’s location has stayed the same and use to proved us shade but now the leaves have falled on the earth to die Leaving a clear view of the sun beaming on our skin from the sky We can’t put our confidence in what we can see with our own eye Our eyes may deceive us if we don’t see through eyes of God I pray for a level of faith to believe like how i don’t think to breathe before i breathe The key to having faith of a mustard seed is to believe more on the things we can’t see like the same air we breathe since God created Adam and Eve. Since the beginning To this day the same wind that blew on the leaves At garden of Eden blows the same wind on the leaves of our trees, and hasn’t ceased to be. We breathe the same air Jesus breathe in his short time on this earth. So why trust our own eyes unless we see through the lens of the most high ? -I spy with my little eye someone who wants to rely on their own judgment as if they are just.. in God I’ll boast if I must Only God is just… And in him we should trust! In him I will trust! Trust in his will ! Because through him he sent Jesus! The only one worthy to open the book and loose the seal. The only one who died and rose again so that we could heal and be healed! In him I boast loudly because he can not be concealed but revealed that He has given us power to tread over the enemy and bruise his heel. All because Jesus saw through the eyes of his father, his will. So It’s his will or no deal Because he sent his son to pay the bill on my behalf to cancel the penalty of the wages of sin and death on the behalf of the wrath of God towards us For once God spared the rod On us And put it on his son And here we are spoiled and rooten And seem to have forgotten What our savior’s done for us ? A lack of remembrance has caused us our lack of trust So I leave you with this Trusting him isn’t easy Because trusting him means that we have to be blind and fully rely On someone other than ourselves But who better to trust Than the one who formed you from dust? The Author of our past, our present and our future Allow him to write your story And trust the words that he writes As we walk blind to our site seeing His will for our life

Crushed Sometimes in life there will be things which will crush our spirit We got to keep on moving, we got to keep on pushing How can I rejoice when I feel so crushed How can I have joy when the one who gave me joy I have lost I feel so crushed, I feel like a rock that has sunk I feel like a boat which nolonger floats, since I nolonger be in your seaI nolonger be in your arms to receive your love I feel crushed but I am pushing How can I rejoice when there is nolonger us How can I wake when your smile made me look forward for the day Everyday now is a downer, just misdirection and frustration Not having you with me brings confusion So much headache, so much heartache, I feel crushed but ill keep on pushing Thats why they call it a crush because the one that you love eventually hurts you so much The one that you give to just takes and you receive not much How can we rejoice, when the one that we love so much we have lost The wounds are like scars, reminding you of what you have lost The wounds will burn like fire but you will overcome I know you feel crushed but you got to keep on moving I know you feel crush but life will eventually be soothing How can I rejoice when I feel so crushed

Let me spill the tea Truth is I'm crushed Inside my being You see a smile I see a sea of things I don't care about But try to put on a brave face For everyone else I'm actually breaking down I stare at a tub full of water And dare myself to drown I'd do it But I can't take the pain If it was easy I'd already be dead So numb Tired of fighting I do my best but Everything just goes wrong It'll get better they say... You don't know my demons They don't go away I wish I could just be erased Non existence Fade into oblivion Become space Sweet death They don't know what it's like To hate the light Cause it reminds you Of the darkness inside Suicidal isn't the word for me I just want my life to change I want my stressors to disapate But everything just repeats I don't want to die It's my life that needs to die not me.. Crying in the bathroom at work In my bedroom Tears from failed attempts of reversing my birth Ending this curse I can only run so far from the hurt It rises anytime I try to put me first I can't take it anymore Everyday torture Another sword In my back My souls worn Thank you God for this gift of life, But here take it back I don't want it anymore No one should life like this It's painful to exist How can my heart beat if it's chilled?
