As a long time embroiderer you can buy chairs that the top slides off easily for decoration. SanMar and S&S Activewear sell them wholesale. I did one for a local theater director. So easy!
Hi there wanted to let you know I. Have used the easy weed extra on the chairs as well . and it works great . Thanks for sharing your videos they are awesome ..
***** You could always use the gloves that come with Hair Wands, you can buy them at beauty stores also. That'll help with protecting your hands and being able to hold the items that you are pressing.
What temperature are you running the press? The chairs we are working with are polyethylene fabric. When pressing, i am melting to the press if I use it for the full 8 seconds. Do I need to look for a Nylon Chair?
+Darrell Parker Hey Darrell, I am not sure why we had not commented until now, I do apologize for missing this. A polyethylene fabric would be weaker under a heat press, so I would recommend a Nylon chair to do better. :) TRW Nick
+Justin Greene Hey Justin, we would recommend EasyWeed as it is the thinnest so it isn't going to crack on you. You can also do EasyWeed Stretch. :) TRW Nick
+TheRhinestoneWorld Sweet, thank you!! I tried a practice run on my cheap fold-up chair with the t-shirt vinyl that came with my plotter but I think the chair is way to plastic and the vinyl didn't adhere great in all places. You guys are awesome!!!
Hello! What kind of folding chair is it? I would probably recommend decal vinyl. That can be found here: therhinestoneworld.com/Main-Category/Sign--AND--Decal-Materials/Subcategory-1/FDC-Sign-Vinyl. - TRW Richard
Hey! We actually haven't done that, we can certainly put it in the rounds for a lab, but it may be quicker if you did it and let us know so that we can have a stockpile of info. :) TRW Nick

Hello, It it a hard surface? We don't recommend heat pressing on plastics like that, because they have a low burning temperature. FDC Sign Vinyl should work if it is a harder surface. TRW, Grant
TheRhinestoneWorld I would say it was a hard surface, but I ended up trying it, kept it at a low heat and it seemed to adhear pretty great. Thanks for the video!
That would depend on the material you're using! You can find more info using the link below. www.therhinestoneworld.com/Rhinestone-Vinyl-Pressing-Specs - TRW Haley
Hey Jay, You can pick them up at any sporting goods store or retail store that has a sporting goods section. You can also find folding chairs on Amazon. :) TRW Nick
