Joe, what a great video. I haven't used my TRX4 Sport in ages, and now, I'm chomping at the bit to get out with my son, and go crawling. The views might not be so epic though!! I love the way my TRX4 performs. Its not stock, but not far off. I'm running a set of cheap beadlocks, with cut stock tyres (cut all of the tiny tread blocks from the centre of the tread!! Something to keep you occupied while you're quarantined!!! 🤪) , and hair doughnuts, instead of foams. That'll allow the tyre to deform more, and give more grip. 😎👍🏻 I love the look of the LCG truck, but it's way out of my price range. I do, however, absolutely love the Gmade. My first crawler was a Gmade R1, and had I not won my TRX4, I would almost certainly now have that GS02 Komodo, or a GOM. They seem to lack a bit of weight, compared to the TRX4, which I think helps in some situations. The spare wheel, and high body on the Bronco won't help when it comes to steep climbs. Great video, once again. I'm going to give the Ex Pats channel a look too. Take care, and stay sane!! 6 weeks quarantine!!!! Nuts!! 👍🏻

The LCG rig and TRX4 are obviously better from a chassis and technical standpoint. But, gotta say, your friend deserves the style points! He did a great job on the patina of the Proline body. And those old Chevys are iconic here in the US.

Regardless of which truck you choose of the 3 (or any other for that matter) - your video perfectly shows what fun can be had hiking and crawling with a couple of mates. (And how bad magnetic mounts are for crawling!)

That GMade looks fantastic! TRX-4 is still king imo for an all round trail truck. It’s not going to crawl as well as a true LCG but it’s scale AND is just more fun, for most people, with its 2 speeds and diff lockers etc. Put a nice brushless sensored setup with better tires and proper weighting on the TRX4 and it’s a different animal. I’d love to have that LCG though!

That 100% drag brake is always said to be the best for crawling. Some stuff it is. But on those super steep Inclines it brakes so hard if you let off the throttle that you are more likely to flip backwards.

I would mod the tires if you like them they are great when you remove the center lug on the treads works better in the rocks you don’t need to worry about saving gas lol

Just a little added weight to the TRX up front and down low and it will go anywhere.

That Gmade looks hella rustic and like a real beater. It’s almost TOO MUCH rustic going on but I can appreciate the realism. Dude needs to find a better body mount solution though because those magnets ain’t cutting it!

I can promise you from experience with my Gmade GS01 Komodo it has out performed any TRX4 I have put it up against the biggest disadvantage the GS02F had was bad stock tires
