Marshmallows are not an American invention. The food dates back to at least 2000 BC in Egypt, and it was France that created the modern version (using gelatin instead of the extract of the mallow root). America was one of the last places to make them.

My friend, Jon Proudstar was on Reservation Dogs for 9 episodes. My talent agency used to represent him until the company moved to New Mexico, and I stayed here in Arizona. Unfortunately I can't say I got him that part, but I'm so proud of him. I wasn't able to visit the set, but I loved seeing his posts on Facebook about it.

I made a lasagna one time that surprised the hell out of my family! I hid a layer of spaghetti and mini meatballs as the center layer of the lasagna. I've only done it once but I may do it again in the future because they loved it. The way their faces lit up when they realized what was going on was amazing.
