i love that he repeatedly walks away like a boss after completely failing to successfully lift the weight that he spent 10 minutes gathering from around the gym
I love how the music gets more and more intense as if it’s going to fully crescendo right when he lifts the impossibly heavy weight, and then nothing happens but the music keeps going
I've had a friend get a hernia for way less. She was trying to keep up with me and see how much she can do of the weight I was doing. Dudes lucky he hasn't experienced that because it's extremely painful and you need surgery to fix it.
Right, seeing him pick up 3 45 lb weights at once is legitimately impressive. And the fact that he could even stand there holding all that weight in the squat.
@@orirune3079the 3 plate grab is something that I’ve only very rarely seen.. obviously he has perfected the technique of carrying as many plates as possible 😂
all jokes aside this dude could probably lift an insanely heavy piece of metal/debris JUST high enough to save somebody's life. that is a flex in itself.
Actually, just about anyone could potentially have those incredible life saving moments. The vast majority of your strength is locked away from you by your brain so that you don’t just wildly injure yourself doing ordinary shit every day. Those life saving lifts are mainly the result of pumping you full of adrenaline to make you forget all pain and inhibition for a couple moments.
This guy is awesome. Either he is 100% serious, and that's hilarious or it is masterful satire and that is also hilarious. Hope he doesnt hurt himself doing this though.
@averydenherder7164 I think it still looked effortful, just fast. Plus it's easier to pick something up and move it when it stays at the same height, like if you've ever moved something from one bench to another as opposed to picking it up off the floor. Plus, as Cody pointed out, he's still buff, just not 100 plates buff.
Is no one else thinking how annoying this would be if you needed plates and he has just every single 45 lb plate in the gym stacked on the leg press 😭😭😭
Using lifting belt improperly is very dangerous this guys is so far beyond human that he has to where two just to add extra pressure just to feel something
@@ursaminor2981because it’s clearly satire. Dude is extremely built and strong regardless of how hilariously bad he’s purposefully performing the movements. Anyone with any gym experience can see he’s fucking around and that he knows what he’s doing. The fact that he can even un-rack 600 Ibs shows that. And him missing the 225 bench at his size and strength instantly gives it away 😂. He’s an experienced lifter creating comedic lifting content for shock factor.
I'm going through some shit and your videos help me pull through. I respect the effort you put into life, even if you aren't feeling it... you're still an impeccably incredible influence.
I know it's been 8 months since you made this comment, and I hope things are doing better now, but I just wanted to wish you the best anyways. You're never alone. You've got this.
My youngest daughter would watch your videos. I got so caught up, that I watch you now constantly! I’ll be at work, listening to you! You crack me up so much! My kids will come in my room and say, “you’re watching codyko again aren’t you?” Keep it up ! You’re awesome!
@@aldranzam3456 i guess lol dude looks like he wouldnt be able to breach 200 on a benchpress which like, 16 year olds who lift for 2 months can easily get to lmfao doubt hes actually a frequent gym goer, 100% just a ragebaiter that doesnt lift 😭
Saw a chick doing half squats the other day and later on saw her watching tiktok videos 5 minutes later while taking up a machine. The videos were not about anything gym related. Idk why people waste their time in the gym doing fuck all for hours of their life each week
I love this channel. I’ve just realized that. I knew this person from Vine. That’s here I first discovered him. Kept watching his content. Along with Noel. And even listen to their music. TINY MEAT GANG REPRESENT!!! I remember being 15 and ROCKING out to Walk Man and it being my favorite song. Now. I’m 21. And I’m still watching both Noel and him. And he is about to be a FATHER. it makes me so happy and proud for both of them
Minus the elbow wraps and belt, doing bench press negatives like that and having a spotter assist on the way up is actually a really good exercise and he executed it well lmao. Seemingly by accident did a good lift.
Literally JUST finished my lunch and clocked back in to work. You failed me Cody… but that’s okay. Thanks in advance for the laughs this video will give me.
I love how the guy is just addicted to the feeling of adding absurd amounts of weight regardless what he can actually lift. The result is hilarious and has to be some what embarrassing yet he keeps doing it.
Now I'm just imagining some 40 year old woman listening to her podcast on a treadmill perplexed while watching this man take every plate he can and put them on one machine, doing what looks like a warm up for 1 minute and then leaving 💀
El Campeon has clearly never heard of the term from range of motion or proper lifting form. He's some crazy guy that thinks as long as you can move a weight from its original position, it counts as a rep. The saddest part is how much confidence he has while doing so much so terribly incorrect.
Lmao you know the funny part is, this dudes probably getting a decent workout in simply gathering and stacking all of these weights In his head he's like, "I did one rep at 1050lb, which has gotta be why I'm looking good" In reality he's doing 20 x 50lb sets carrying these weights across the gym lmao
Those are knee wraps. You’ll see powerlifters and strongmen using them to lift very heavy weight. You can find old photos of Arnold using some for squat as well. The essentially help you “rebound” from the bottom of the squat as they’re set to be very tight. Realistically, that’s likely what’s allowing him to even go 15 degrees. You know, besides his massive balls dragging him down. Side Note: You can also tell the wraps aren’t tight enough in the leg press video as when he walks up to it his legs clearly still I’ve mobility at the knee. If they were properly tightened he’d be walking a bit more like a penguin.
Hey Cody, I know you can’t understand everything this guy says. His messages are always positive and beautiful man. I’m an avid lifter and at first I thought it was ridiculous as well, but his words of wisdom and outlook on life really do motivate me to be more like him. Much love !
@@LostSoulsmusic22 the muscle growing comes from stretching and working it tho that's why doing full reps would be important 6:56 he's not working his full leg, like Cody said his calve muscle may be strong but it's not really gonna do anything for the rest lol. Also how often does he do this, I'd bet it's as long as the camera is on them he goes on about his day
The fact this dudes in the most commercial looking gym ever just makes it funnier. We’ve all seen the old dudes carrying on like they’re way stronger than they actually are, groaning and throwing weights around hahahha such a classic gym sight to behold
There’s another video on his TikTok where he says he’s going to stop trying to lift so heavy because it “bothers people” and people apparently keep filing complaints about him with management. He also seems to go to like 6 different gyms because people keep getting mad 😆
Thank you Cody for posting a lighthearted video to save me from these awful times. You really are a great motivation to keep moving forward. Thank you so much Cody ❤
1:40 reminded me of that episode of spongebob where they get superpowers and spongebob stands still and acts like he just ran back and forth at light speed
El Campeon’s master plan: 1. Do this shit 2. Secretly go to another gym and actually lift weights with good form 3. Get big because of step 2 4. Go back to this gym and, now yoked, over time make people think “wait…. Maybe he knows something we don’t…”
CAMPEON is a legend and he actually lifts properly now; good weight and good range of motion. He basically maxed out every single lift and machine with abhorrent form and now is staring at square one lol
