Harrison was good, with his little little card magic. Where you keeping saying wow! But johnny wu one magic at the time is like mind blowing masterpiece!. For me Johnny is the winner by far.
well they chosed their tricks so if the trick being quicker affected the result at all that was entirely his reponsability. Just like in a music competition the song each singer choses to sing might affect the final result
Facts, and he was also very one-dimensional. Not to mention doing the nail in the hand trick He kept you Justin she picked the bag on The bag on his right, he said this one like 12 times and then told her pick this one it's fine...
5:17 this was so easy to see. In the time stamp you can see when she shuffles the ace of spades is on the bottom. Someone off camera sees it and types the Siri message. You can see him holding his hand out of frame until they are done typing. When she cut the deck he told her to put the top half on the table followed by the bottom half positioned sideways. The bottom card of the shuffle is also the bottom card of the cut. That’s how he did it.
Maybe it's because I know how some of the mechanics work behind the magic here, but I was more impressed with Johnny Wu overall. Harrison is playing things a little too safe in relying on a lot of older established magic tricks. There's nothing wrong with that, and is great for regular performance - but I want to see something a little more innovative in a competition.
honestly I was more impressed by Johnny because I couldn't see the tricks ... in the case of Harrisson I am actually surprised that he got so many points, because I could see and hear how he was influencing the choices (for example listen when he is talking about the bags, listen carefully what he says), then the thing with the corner of the card ... you can see how he has it in his right hand but when he sits down he puts hands under the table and suddenly he has the corner of the card in his left hand ... this is the reason why I am more impressed by the things Johnny did
I'm a magician and I feel like I'm never good enough with slight of hand but Harrison has made me realize that you don't need the most crazy color changes or effects to have an amazing and fooling trick
Yeah well he did not have her show what she cut to he just had her place the bottom half sideways on top of the top half. Had it been the card she cut to it should have either been the very bottom card she put down or the top card of what she was still holding. Not impressed at all.
It's an old trick that uses the same concept I've used in the past when performing card magic. It's great when the spectator doesn't realize what you've done - and they usually don't, but I've studied magic off and on for 20+ years. Just an hold hobby.
Hey Try Not To! Love the video/channel like always! Keep it up stay safe hope you reach 1M subscribers on this channel and have an amazing afternoon! 😁👍
I used to big fan of magic tricks it's so fun to watch, even though there would be time I figure out or others told me how the tricks work, I loved to purely see it without care for that, it's the bits of it that makes the magic tricks fun to watch
Yeah, that was pretty straight forward. The second I saw it, I knew that was going to be the card used. It's an old trick, so I was... less than impressed.
First of all, the first time when the second magician told that girl to cut the cards , u can clearly see when she drops the middle half u can see the card he called out. Now idk how he made siri say it but ik we all saw that
14:17 ok, I know that's not the number Sheila picked but this is crazy because when he asked Sheila to pick a number for that part, I was thinking 0 so I still flipped out when he said 0 Also at 16:44, I was also thinking 5 of hearts... HOW!?!
I think it has to do with the description he was giving them! The queen dressed in red with a crown! He chose a girl because it was a queen, dressed in red a girl would think of hearts! A crown has approximately 5 points! Power of suggestion i think is what they call it!
Did anyone else notice with picking the bag that he was only pointing to the left bag when he said 'this one' and he was saying it slightly different? I don't know anything about being a magician but it was so obvious to me that he wanted the left one to be picked that I would pick the right one
I think it doesn't matter, it's just like when Jonny was saying that Sergio should change his choice, but he didn't, or when Harrison asked if Jillian wanted him to pick a different card and she did, I really don't think the trick is about your choice, you're suppose to be thinking "what if I chose the other one", and that's the point, even if you had chonsen the bag he didn't "suggest" you to pick, the trick would probably had work the same way, he was doing that probably just to fuck with her mind
Yeah I noticed too but how would that affect the trick? I mean at most it just look lile he predicted exactly who would chose each card. Tho its possible that he simply had all 4 papers on the first envelope and the order he chosed for the guys to pick a number affected the trick too
I mean... cards tricks r very basic for magicians. I can tell how it's set up like... the different in card sizes, the way he manipulates the 2 of hearts. It's not THAT amusing but i say he did a great job. For Johnny it's just crazy how he reads minds. Sure he couldve slid in the descriptive notes but his acts r less basic.
*i am all they time losing saying* *《 WOW 》 and my eyes get tears after* *《 Harrison 》show us the queen card hold in her hand the 5 hearts card* *that video deserve like👍*
No joke when I (forgot her name) the girl with the purple jacket or outfit when she said 5 of hearts I freaked out because that was the card i was thinking off
12:05 The 'piece' is in his right hand; as he sits his hands go under the table and when they come back, the 'piece' (obviously a different piece) is in his other hand. Boom goes the dynamite.
