4:20 At first I was like I feel like it's Michael Jackson and when I saw Neverlands I was like wait I don't think it's him, but when I got it right I was like "oh"
Technicality on Tom and Jerry - while "Puss gets the boot" was indeed released in October of 1940, Tom was called Jasper. It's not really "false" but rather not fully settled on.
Umm so idk if anyone noticed but the first question was 'who is the lead singer of green day' but when they go over the missed questions he says 'who is the lead singer of nickelback'
"Why do I know the OG ones more?"... because, for the most part, those were the better cartoons. Like there are some decent cartoons from the past decade, but most of them are absolute trash.
I went through the video twice and thought it only had 99 questions I don't know where I might have gotten off a bit but either way I got 70% the adult swim ones and some of the cartoon network ones really did me in.. lol
Plane crazy was the first made, true; but Steamboat Willie was the first to be published and thus has the place for the first one even in Disneys own annals
Only parts of these… and quite a few of them are later on in the decade. Slouchy socks were not worn like that. The designer’s outfit is more accurate to the 90’s. No one that I knew of would wear torn jeans anywhere. (I DID try, very hard, to convince my parents to let me, once) …nor would they dare to wear a neon-yellow D.A.R.E. fanny-pack. 😄 (IF it happened, it was later on in the decade. A person cannot just slap a look using the whole decade of the 80’s to define an accurate picture of what was worn in 1984!)
ok not general cartoon trivia DISNEY cartoon trivia. And as someone who never had the Disney channel as a kid, this ended up being much farther out of my wheel house than I expected.
2:07 When this still came up, I was like, "That has to be House of Mouse." Never actually seen the show, but it was a no-brainer because where else would you see a bunch of classic, old Disney characters?
