Future is Now - Vol. 130
VRChat announced the use of OSC(open sound control), which means there are many things we can play around with to get better engagement and immersive experience on VRChat soon! Thanks to the Japanese developer, now you can get the apps VRC PerfectSyncer and iFacialMocap to have PerfectSync facial expression with your avatar. We will show you how and try it to see what it feels like in this episode.

thanks for the tytorial. unfortunately, I only have android and don't know how to connect playstore"face mocap" to perfectsync + The software doesn't seem to be sending any data to my Vrc OSC, probably something related with the server. I'ma learn a different way, but thanks for the video either way 🙏

Could I get some help? I followed the tutorial exactly and it only half-works, my head movements track but not my eye and mouth, even though I have osc enabled TwT

Only tracking head? I guess the blendshape names are incorrect? You have to follow exact same name with PerfectSync's blendshape names. All here on "Setup Step2. Create BlendShapeClip on Unity" malaybaku.github.io/VMagicMirror/en/tips/perfect_sync/

What is the most difficult angle that you can put the phone to look you from that the app can handle? Sorry for my English. I was thinking on using this but what if I attach the iphone below the headset in certain angle and if of course if it doesn't fit, then I take out the cameras of the iphone, connect them by cable somehow and put the cameras inside the headset around the eye scopes. Shouldn't we be able to achieve eye tracking with any headset like that? Just a crazy idea.

why android face applications comes later than Iphone? is it more difficult to develop?

iPhone has thousands of face detection sensors on their hardware that Android doesn't. How Android does face tracking is 100% image recognition so it's more complicated to develop and less accurate at this point.

It's good but when u realize you dont have any friend and just talking or doing some random cringe things to get frend in vr chat, its not worth it (i think) "Be yourself and never surrender." ~Jess no limit~
