Great videos on your paint processes, love them! Curious on your tip in sanding out the trash??? Would you use that process on a metallic basecoat? Thanks!!!

Thanks! Absolutely, I use the process on almost every paint job. The trick with the metallic is re-coating after sanding with at least two more coats of metallic basecoat so sanding scratches don't show up after clear. Another trick with metallic is slowing the reducer down (use slow reducer instead of medium reducer) so the metallic lays down better, but re-coat and dust free times will be longer between coats.

( Great Job ! ) I always hated the 'high impact' factory colors. Would prefer a dark copper/burnt orange metallic 😋 or the many other 'off' typical ones, saw one of this car in ppg Searing Red, deep and intense💃w/white interior+top - now there's impact🎉, my 69 Satellite was med Bronze metallic, 67 Galaxie - Cardinal Red(dark)+ dark blue int. , 72 Torino - Med. Gold metallic ( love dark aqua or turquoise if talkin blues ) on the 'rino or a 71 Boss 351 Mustang 🤤
